Knott- 12.14.10	The most important thing to realise is that vocal ability does not equal technical singing ability any more than instrumental brilliance equals the ability to play OMGFAST. Really simple example: Chris Martin is a better singer than Thom Yorke, but he's not a better vocalist. Singing in the classical sense is just one form of vocal ability. Dylan's tone carries his music superbly.
killrobotmusic 12.14.10	Knott to the rescue. It's more important how the vocal fits in the context of the entire composition. Look at Titus Andronicus for that matter. Patrick Stickles can't sing worth a shit but his vocals are perfect for what they are going for.
