Bassist201's Best Albums Ever

Yay for cliches!
1dredg
El Cielo

Yeah, everyone will disagree with this, but no album has touched me in the way El Cielo has. The concept, the music, and every little nook and cranny in this album fits together. Nothing to say about this album but the fact that it's aboslutely amazing.
2Radiohead
OK Computer

Yet another album where things fit together. Radiohead revolutionized Alternative rock with this album. Songs like Paranoid Android will never be contested.
3Pearl Jam
Ten

Who knows what I'd be listening to today if it wasn't for this album that started it all? Ten is the first album I remember listening to, mainly because my brother grew up in the grunge era and jumped on the Pearl Jam bandwagon rather than the Nirvana one.
4The Beatles
Revolver

The best Beatles album, in my opinion. So many styles come into play, and the Beatles made some of the greatest songs ever on this album, like Eleanor Rigby, Taxman, and of course, Yellow Submarine
5Tool
Lateralus

Lateralus is a masterpiece. How can an album based on a math sequence (Fibonacci) be so great? Only Maynard can pull something off like this.
6DJ Shadow
Endtroducing

I never liked hip-hop, rap, or anything of the sort. It's never interested me, and I just found it torture to listen to. However, I heard so many great things about Endtroducing that I had to check it out, and it's become one of my favorite albums of all time (obviously).
7Miles Davis
Kind of Blue

My favorite jazz album ever.
8Jaga Jazzist
What We Must

A combination of all my musical tastes in one band. This album simply amazes me every time I hear it.
9Red Hot Chili Peppers
BloodSugarSexMagik

Flea owns.
10Muse
Origin of Symmetry

So many great songs on here, Muse put so much energy into their music and they never let you go from that grasp.
