botb 01.12.11	when people hype up a band beyond any belief in my mind then it tends to make me just scorn it. it took me a while to get into radiohead partially because of that and partially because they just aren't a "1st listen click" band for most people. I still don't like all their material.

kingjulian 01.12.11	Took me a few months to really get into OK Computer, and then from there I just plunged in to Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail To The Thief and In Rainbows and I love Kid A and In Rainbows the most. I most recently got The Bends and that's a great album as well. But yeah, not an instant-click band.

But that might be because I have shitty taste in music, so I'll pretty much like anything that sounds weird. I listened to the Bends and Pablo Honey copiously at first, since the song that got me into them was Just. Their sound is kind of...dreary? Give their initial records a few more listens. maybe you'll ease into it. if not, idk. it's okay to have an opinion as long as you have a decent reason. but for now I'm going to pout and pretend like you don't exist.
