03.10.11 | Eh Garden State is kind of lame in my opinion, but yeah (500) Days of Summer's soundtrack is alright. Also, I forgot the There Will Be Blood soundtrack. |

03.10.11 | I realize this, but it was easier to just say soundtrack. However, you are right no arguing that. |

03.10.11 | Needs more Space Jam. |

03.10.11 | Always enjoyed me some Howard Shore, but I'm a sucker for The Sweeney Todd OST as well. |

03.10.11 | once again an awesome list I for sure will listen to 9
and something to rec :
anything by Edward Artemiev russian soundtrack composer which made all Tarkowski's movies scores!
If haven't heard anything by him : Ost for Stalker , Solaris and The Mirror are good choices. |
Adabelle
03.10.11 | Great list, although I haven't heard/seen 2 or 3. |

03.10.11 | "Garden State" soundtrack is amazing; I bought at least three albums (and gained a newfound respect for Coldplay) after listening to it.
What about animated films, yo? "The Prince of Egypt" OST, "Mulan" OST, etc.? And it might be cheating, but "Fantasia" got me interested in classical music, so it would definitely be on my list. |
vmcoia91
03.10.11 | Yeah, I actually like Mulan's OST too. Thank you relativeworld I will definitely check out those scores. |
Hyperion1001
03.10.11 | 7 is amazing, but i'd say this list needs:
Bladerunner
Susperia
Taxi Driver (my personal favorite)
28 Days Later
City of the Living Dead |
Hyperion1001
03.10.11 | Oh shit i almost forgot, it's not really a full length movie soundtrack, but the best soundtrack ever produced is the Cowboy Bebop OST. Yoko Kanno is amazing. |
ZilbelPing
03.10.11 | @Remer17 isnt that just East Hastings from F#A#Infinity?
At least a big part of it. |
vmcoia91
03.10.11 | I think there was more to the soundtrack, but all I remember from that movie is him walking around outside for the first time and East Hastings playing. Epic! |

03.11.11 | 28 days later's score was john murphy but has a couple of great other songs thrown in
(Murphy also did Sunshine) |

04.10.11 | listened to 9 ! Terrific ! I think no one is able to dislike this soundtrack !
Props for Hyperion1001's Taxi Driver !!! haven't heard Cowboy Bepop ! thanks for mentioning that fella, will soon look for it ! |
Spec
04.10.11 | 500 Days Of Summer has an awesome soundtrack. |
relativeworld
04.10.11 | Not my cup of tea, Spec ! though I like a few tracks ! you know I d like the ost to be like a truely concept album, like Ennio Morricone's relatively recent soundtracks ( Lolita, Malena, Hamlet ...), Mark Isham's (The crash..) or zbigniew preisner's soundtracks for Kieslowski's movies ( like Three colors )and many more which is not needed to mention !
The latest soundtrack that I fell in love with, is Edward Shearmur's The Skeleton Key..full of Northern blues, rock and country modal concepts and things ...I rec it to anyone who enjoys these kind of stuff !
