Aids
04.05.11 | I'm really really really excited for 1 6 and 8. 7 too, kind of.
Most excited for Simple Math, that album is gonna rule so far. |
Masochist
04.05.11 | And then some others that I'm interested in, like:
Falling Me - 'Falling Me'
In Flames - 'Sounds of a Playground Fading'
Thrice - (untitled)
...Can't wait, though! |
Aids
04.05.11 | hard* |
Aids
04.05.11 | new Thrice! |
Masochist
04.05.11 | On this list...probably most excited for new Fair To Midland. |
Hocmat
04.05.11 | Can not wait for 7 |
Masochist
04.05.11 | 'Liquid Swords II' better bring it. I expect it to be at least as good as 'OB4CL II'. |
Aids
04.05.11 | I have a feeling that Liquid Swords II is going to be full of meh. |
TheEnigma
04.05.11 | A bunch of these for sure man.
I'll trust your judgement and assume they'll all be awesome. |
Masochist
04.05.11 | TheEnigma - Don't do that! I thought 'Lasers' would be awesome...>_>...(okay, I actually enjoy 'Lasers' a lot more than most people here, but it was still underwhelming). |
JWT155
04.05.11 | Intrigued about 8, I've liked the singles and prob should listen to their last record again soon. |
FelixCulpa
04.05.11 | ASIWYFA, Manchester Orchestra, Thrice, The antlers, Bon Iver, Converge (?), WFANFC, probably something else I'm missing. Much to look forward to. |
dnor
04.05.11 | 8 hardcore excites me. new thrice might be good...liquid swords II is either gonna be amazing or completely forgettable. |
Aids
04.05.11 | Manchester Orchestra's last album was AOTY in 2009 in my opinion; I have very high hopes for their new
one. |
JWT155
04.05.11 | I liked their last album but it didn't floor me, vocals kinda annoy me. |
Masochist
04.05.11 | Who are ASIWYFA and WFANFC?
And Man. Orchestra's album was one of the best of 2009 for me (which was a good year)--it introduced me to the band, so I'm rightfully excited for it. |
Aids
04.05.11 | And So I Watch You From Afar
and I had to google the other one but the band is called Working For A Nuclear Free City (terrible band name)
jwt, I love hull's vocals, but to each their own. |
Aids
04.05.11 | ASIWYFA is fucking awesome mas. If you haven't heard them check them out for sure. Their self-titled album came out in 2009 (?) and is awesome. It's like, heavy post-rock. |
dnor
04.05.11 | go listen to andy hull's song about 50 Cent JWT. you'll laugh so hard you'll forget about your dislike for his vocals and be able to respect him. problem solved. |
Aids
04.05.11 | haha dnor I haven't heard that, it sounds excellent |
dnor
04.05.11 | it's fuckin' helarious...
"last year alone you made 50 million dollars...you could have made 1000 unfortunate people's lives completely perfect...you bought a boat."
something like that. its sooo funny. |
dixoncocks
04.05.11 | 8 will be really good, also new thrice(5) |
Masochist
04.05.11 | Aids - Good band, ASIWYFA. Might have to put them on my watch list ;-)
Also...just discovered a band called Unholy Tongues that is similar to them in that they play up-beat post-rockish music. It features the bassist from He Is Legend, which is awesome...check 'em out, yeah?

Wolfhorde
04.05.11 | Meh, 6 can do better than Musical Chairs. It's catchy but way too repetetive. And since Search.Party.Animal I'm also pretty stoked for the new ASIWYFA. |
TheEnigma
04.05.11 | "TheEnigma - Don't do that!"
Let me rephrase my previous statement
*I'll trust your judgement and assume these are all worth looking into. |
fr33convict
04.05.11 | 4 and 6 will be amazingly good without a doubt.
I'M NOT A MACHINE SO DON'T PUSH ME LIKE BUTTONS |
FelixCulpa
04.05.11 | @Masochist Definitely check out ASIWYFA.
@Aids Yeah Working for a nuclear free city aint the best band name but they're a damn good band, you should check em out. |
tom79
04.05.11 | i am so stoked for liquid swords 2. more so than any other album probably. |
taxidermist
04.05.11 | Stoked for 1 and 5. |
Masochist
04.05.11 | Hopefully very few of these will be disappointing. I'm guessing if any of them will, it might be Dredg...but then again, I've enjoyed all the releases from 'El Cielo'-on, so I can't say that yet. |
