acorncheese 04.22.11	Fan support at actual events (I've been to pretty much all sporting events they have to offer: Bucs, Lightning, Rays, Storm) has been very weak over the last few years. Hell, at every Lightning game I've been to, there were points when it appeared that the entire crowd was chanting for the other team. I wouldn't be one bit surprised to find out that the Blackhawk fans outnumbered the Lightning fans at the game I caught between them this year. That shit was fucking ridiculous and embarrassing. Last baseball season the Rays organization was struggling so hard to get fans into the stadium that they gave out free tickets at one point. The Rays finished first in their division, too, if I remember right. Shit's been WEAK lately.
Spec 04.22.11	Yeah, I kind of figured. Gotta love drunken Flames fans. Can't lie though, a lot of people in this city turn on them in a heartbeat but once they start winning, they're the "greatest fans ever." HEROIN BEER FTW
acorncheese 04.22.11	Lol, most TB fans don't even support their teams when they're on top. But what can you expect from such a popular state/city to move to? Ask around on the streets and you'll find that 90% of people you meet aren't actually from TB/FL.

Satellite 04.22.11	games 3 and 4 in phoenix had like 40% wings fans. they tried to have their traditional white-out, but it ended up failing miserably. that team can't move back to winnepeg quickly enough as far as i'm concerned. hopefully things turn around from a fan interest point of view in tampa. it's not exactly a hockey hotbed, but they're only a few years removed from a fucking cup and they've got a shitload of talent.
