Btbam Albums Ranked

So I know there are quite a few people on this site who are very outspoken about their distaste for BTBAM, but they've been my favorite band since 2003, so I'm making this list.
1Between the Buried and Me
Colors

BTBAM progressed at an alarming rate over the first few albums of their career, and this is where it all peaked. This album is spectacular all the way through and is the most cohesive effort from BTBAM to date.
Best Songs: 'Ants of the Sky,' 'White Walls'
2Between the Buried and Me
Alaska

The first album from the band with their current lineup, 'Alaska' hinted at what Between the Buried and Me were capable of doing. This album may suffer a bit from some shoddy production, but it features some of the best songs the band has ever written.
Best Songs: 'Selkies: The Endless Obsession,' 'Backwards Marathon'
3Between the Buried and Me
The Parallax: Hypersleep Dialogues

Is this an EP, or an album? Sputnik has it as an EP. I've heard some places refer to it as an album. There are only three songs, but those three songs add up to a longer album than some full lengths. Either way, I'm including it in my list at number 3. 'Hypersleep Dialogues' features all the technical wizardry the band displayed in 'Colors' and 'The Great Misdirect' with a sense that the band is trying to hone those skills in a new direction. Although these songs are still extremely technical, they at times show restraint that we are not used to.
Best Song: 'Specular Reflection'
4Between the Buried and Me
The Great Misdirect

'The Great Misdirect' had the unfortunate disadvantage of having to live up to the incredibly high expectations that were created after 'Colors.' On its own, 'The Great Misdirect' is a solid effort with a just few blemishes.
Best Songs: 'Obfuscation,' 'Disease, Injury, Madness'
5Between the Buried and Me
The Silent Circus

The album the got me into BTBAM, 'The Silent Circus' in hindsight is a bit disjointed. However, it does feature moments of absolute brilliance.
Best Songs: 'Mordecai,' 'Ad a dglgmut'
6Between the Buried and Me
Between the Buried and Me

The very beginning for BTBAM, their self-titled effort is a great release despite poor production and a vocal performance from a front-man who seemingly didn't know what he was doing yet.
Best Songs: 'More of Myself to Kill,' 'Shevanel Cut a Flip'
