so i know that 99% of sputnik could give a rat's ass about soccer but
the other day the united states national team lost to mexico in the
final of the gold cup tournament (big surprise). after the game, the
fuckin award ceremony was in fuckin spanish....and the game was
held in los angeles at the rose bowl! wtf, mate?! anyways, the
american goalkeeper, tim howard, called the soccer federation out on
it and said that he felt disrespected that they did the ceremony in
spanish rather than in english. i side with him on this because if the
game were in mexico or any other country, and the us won, the
ceremony would still be in that country's language.. and then it got
me thinking... why the fuck are there billboards around town in
spanish, too? fuckin a. what do you sputfucks think about this sort of

I know, i was just commenting on that he's a general nutter. As for his tourettes, i'm not sure what his specific ticks (i know they vary depending on the individual) are i just know that he has the condition. It's just a crazy contrast how he's hyped up like hell on the pitch and as soon as the whistle blows for full time he's one of the most polite and calm players you'll ever meet |
