On Patrol is a little better than Ancient Romans. The Cut Hands album is interesting and I like 936 a lot. I heard all of these thanks to Pitchfork though. |

I have thousands and thousands of albums I already like/love and still want to listen too. But I also like to give new stuff at least one spin to see if I like it. I personally try to balance the two but that sometimes means I need to rely on people like MisterTornado here or Hep to point me in the right direction. That would also be why I might miss a really good album from a genre I'm not much of a fan of. |

that would get damn expensive, and i'm not gonna buy a cd just cuz it's something i haven't or many people haven't heard. i at least like to give a track or two a listen before dropping like ten bucks. but i'm just saying, this is 45 cd's just from the past 8 months, and it's only "overlooked" ones. think of how many mainstream ones this guy has probably also listened to just from '11. and then all the other years, it's pretty crazy. and as far as the cd in the car thing goes, my max commute for either school or work is ten minutes. |
