| Mid 2000s: Best Years In Emo(tional) Music

Between The Heart And The Synapse
April 26, 2005 - Three vocalists (including The Casey Crescenzo who you've all come to know and love as the frontman of The Dear Hunter), three guitarists, and some of the best uses of synth/music software I've heard (not to mention Anthony Green was a guest vocalist). Dissect their lyrics, and you'll be overwhelmed by the amount of poetic devices and wordplay they use. Personally, I'm surprised (and somewhat insulted) this album didn't make it on the top 100 list. May 7, 2005 - If I had the intention of hoping the Sputnik staff would pick this as a feature list I'd ramble on about how listening to this album used to be like a religious experience, but my writing skills are adequate and my opinions are the same as everyone else's.
