So I thought at first too (I even wrote a terribly mediocre review based on that notion) but after about 10 spins you start to notice how much more cohesive and profuse the album is in general. The attention to detail is brilliant there. Don't get me wrong, I love The Frail Tide and Neither Shape Nor Shadow is still probably my favorite Be'lakor song, but as an album, Stone's Reach is superior. |
