Playing Someone Else's Music

I've got this wonderful band together, and we're just having so much fun sitting down writing original material, jamming until we can hardly stand up straight, and working our butts off that somebody decided it'd be a great idea to leave the songwriting to some other dudes. So we've got several covers in the works. They're arranged here in order of overall difficulty.
1Russian Circles
Death Rides a Horse

One of the most interesting genre-crossers in recent Post-Rock history, "Death Rides a Horse" rocks out with its cock full out. It starts off intense right off the bat and doesn't stop. However, since a huge part of the lead guitar work in this track is non-stop tapping, the guitars in the song are tuned funny, and there are absolutely no fools brave enough to tab this beast, we're working overtime on this one and wading our way through as best we can.

Bleak

It's an ass-kicking and rather dark little Metal ditty, as well as one of the most beautiful songs in all of Metal. The challenge is mostly in the fact that it's really, really long and there's a lot to remember.

Arpeggi

Gorgeous, unreleased track that most have only witnessed live; unfortunately, this makes finding reliable tabs just that much harder, especially with the three-guitar texture that these boys are known for.

Sober

No part of this song is really THAT hard, especially since our rhythm section is absolutely ace. I'll be honest, I picked this one because it would be a relatively easy one to cover and because it's rather popular.

Sunday

This one's cake. I admit that I like the song, though it never really goes anywhere. I've kinda wanted to hear a group do a totally different take on this song, and we might as well give it the edge and slight bump in tempo that it's sorely lacking at present. We're almost cheating by covering "Sunday", though; the only hard part is re-arranging the second guitar part for a different tuning - no way in hell we're doing it with Lee's tuning.
