You! Tinychat! NOW!

Get in here so I can show off my vinyl collection.
1John Coltrane
Coltrane Time

A random jazz album I bought. The first one jazz album I bought, actually.
2Miles Davis
Kind of Blue

It's 1980-something pressing, but I'm happy I have it. I found it randomly
while looking in the "holiday" section of my local record store for 'A Charlie
Brown Christmas'
3Vince Guaraldi Trio
A Charlie Brown Christmas

I ended up buying this from online just so I could have it before Christmas.
It sounds so damn good on vinyl!
4Bob Dylan
Bringing It All Back Home

Been looking for this album for a good long while, and finally got a first-year
pressing of it. Only problem: "Subterranean Homesick Blues" has a lateral
scratch, so it skips. ONLY that song skips. I'll take it back when I find
another 1960's pressing.
5Johnny Cash
At Folsom Prison

A first-year pressing. This is the exact type of album that was meant to be
heard on vinyl.
6King Crimson
In The Court of the Crimson King

The first LP I ever bought. It's a brand new pressing, though; I want an
original (or at least an older one).
7Simon and Garfunkel
Bookends

Another good vinyl album.
8Bob Dylan
Blood On The Tracks

Other than 'Coltrane Time', this is the only album I've ever listened to on
vinyl FIRST.
9Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

Favorite Pink Floyd. You can find original pressings of this everywhere.
10Pink Floyd
The Wall

Found this in a record shop for $8.00. Bought it on a whim.
11My Bloody Valentine
Loveless

This is the vinyl I paid the most for, because I was tired of not being able to
find it...and also, the bid I made was a bit of a joke bid.
12DJ Shadow
Endtroducing.....

Easy vinyl purchase; it's everywhere. And it sounds good no matter what.
13Neutral Milk Hotel
In The Aeroplane Over The Sea

This was a whim purchase, to be honest, but I promise that owning and
listening to the vinyl helped me get into the c.d. even more. Also, I let
Taxidermist download the digital copy that came with it. Ask him how that
went...;-)
14The Black Keys
Rubber Factory

My newest vinyl, and one of only two for albums that were made in the
past decade. This is my favorite 'Keys record.
15Japandroids
Post-Nothing

A whim purchase, but I listen to the vinyl more than I listen to the album on
my computer.
