Album Rating: 3.5 sputnik has become a cesspool of miserable old men who can\'t handle bands changing up their sound anymore. that and posers who are unable to find their own voice and enjoyment.

Judgement Ranked

Am really digging Anathema's Judgement atm, so I thought I'd rank it for y'all
1Anathema
Judgement

Similar to Anyone, Anywhere, this song builds up until it explodes at around
the middle and blast the listener with riffs so dark and bleak that Opeth
could learn a thing or two by listening to this. This song is incredibly
haunting , but it's worth every minute of listening
2Parisienne Moonlight

This is Lee Douglas' main appearance on the album and is it's most
beautiful moment
3Pitiless

This is one of the few songs on the album that really rocks; it's dark all the
way through and the solo is amazing.
4Anyone, Anywhere

This song is effectively one long build-up, which it does beautifully, and then
it reaches its climax at about 3:30, which is incredibly powerful and memorable
5Wings of God

Very powerful and majestic
6Emotional Winter

This song has the best intro on the album, reminds me a bit of Dire Straits,
and the rest is great as well
7Destiny Is Dead

A really nice little instrumental that fits in perfectly
8One Last Goodbye

Given the praise that I've heard about this song, I found it a little
disappointing. I don't think that I fully appreciate it yet; it's a really good
song, but I don't think it's "the most touching lament ever written"
9Deep

A good way to start the album, since it represents the sound of the other
songs very well and has a cool solo. It gets a little boring at times, but I
don't mind.
10Don't Look Too Far

There's nothing wrong with this song, but it is hardly one of my faves. Solid
nevertheless
112000 & Gone

Although this is very beautiful and relaxing, I think that it's twice as long as
it needs to be; if it was shorter, it would be much higher up. A great way to
end the album
12Make It Right (F.F.S.)

This is one of the darker songs, and I like it, but not as much as the others
13Forgotten Hopes

This is the only song on the album that I found boring; it's not bad, but it's
very average when compared to the other songs
