realize that metal and humor don't really mix. Oh wait he did:

Synchestra
make Epicloud as awesome and diverse as Synchestra. One of the reasons I liked Synchestra so much was partly because of the fact that it featured a number instruments other than electric guitars, and not every song (or at least not every bit of each song) was played in the same key. | | 5 |  | The Devin Townsend Band
Accelerated Evolution
start writing lyrics like the ones on Accelerated Evolution and Ocean Machine: Biomech again. It's nice that Devin has a quirky side, but sometimes being a little too quirky is too much. | | 4 |  | Devin Townsend
Terria

I think Epicloud (in concept) sounds like it will hit the mark for a lot of people. The heaviness of Decon without all the weird jokes that turned some people off, with a little more diversity of sound a la Synchestra as you mentioned. I think Casualties of Cool (not a huge fan of the name, but w/e) could be interesting, sounds almost like trip-hop or something. | macadoolahicky
