03.11.12 | "also Paprika > Inception"
It's definitely a film I can rewatch more than the one it inspired, but the argument can be made that
Paprika is simply more weird than Inception, and that being weird doesn't correlate with being great. |
Hyperion1001
03.12.12 | imo satoshi kon is a better director than miyazaki |

03.13.12 | imo satoshi kon is a better director than miyazaki [2]
Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers are so fucking good, and the latter is pretty 'life-affirming', although still kind of sad.
Tekkonkinkreet is excellent too. |
Vesper
03.13.12 | Oh, and Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland was easily my favorite animated film growing up, and I always thought Treasure Planet was underrated. |
mvood
03.13.12 | I still need to watch Tokyo Gogfathers but from what i've seen it'll be awesome. Yeah there's a lot of underrated Disney animations that get pushed aside because of their pedestal animations like Lion King (for good reason) Treasure Planet was one of those passing phases and Iron Giant too |
