BallsToTheWall 12.21.11	Still so many key movies I need to see like City Lights and Citizen Kane. I will get around to seeing as many as I can without downloading.

BallsToTheWall 12.21.11	East vs west booyaka booyaka. I however do not download movies. So I don't think ill get around to watching everything In want to see. I prefer buying them used or new if I really have too at movie stops or other stores with a decent catalog. Amazon as well.
MO 12.21.11	It basically revolves around what wolfe said. Movies nowadays are all about bringing in money, that's it. So you get some household names to star in your movie and just make it with a huge budget, CGI the whole works. It's just the biggest example of how business and art should never, ever mix.

BallsToTheWall 12.21.11	I havent gotten around to seeing much of this year besides Sherlock which was pretty good. Need to watch Drive, Melancholia, Girl with Dragon Tattoo, Hesher, The Artist, Ghost Protocol, Carnage and The Guard.

Different eras, different cinema I guess, but I understand your point. Some old school actors/movies I love: Kramer vs. Kramer - Dustin Hoffman performance here is unbelievable. The Deer Hunter - Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken's performance here is top top level. The Wild One - Marlon Brando. One of the most iconic movie characters. The Godfather Apocalypse Now Psycho - Norman Bates...Need to say more?
