Red In Tooth & Claw
i stumbled onto these guys on here with Cruel Sea Scientist, and after loving that release, i was really excited to listen to RITAC. It isn't the most unique or flashy album, but it is so damn intelligent that i cant deny it. its the underground revolt that i most painstakingly am undergoing with religion, and it only further bolsters my support for what i'm doing. This album makes me feel like i'm not the only one pissed about ignoance, and what is going on around here. granted there are other albums that deal with this just as much if not more, but BATS has done it with an academic nuance that i haven't felt in music until now. | | 2 |  | Poison The Well
The Tropic Rot
this one hit me for a loop when i first heard it, because i neglected to sink into Versions, or the other EP they released before this came out. it had to grow on me, and i like it a bunch. maybe not my #2, but it has a tendency to get a song from this stuck in my head. | | 3 |  | He Is Legend

So much better than their s/t. i spun this for about a month straight. its pretty good, i must say. great technical guitar work. rediculously catchy vocal rhythms and lyrics. it's a guilty pleasure. | |
