JamieTwort 10.28.11	Omni, I suggest listeneing to Joe Bonamassa - You & Me, excellent modern blues rock album. I also recommend checking out Bonamassa's collabaration with Beth Hart, thier album Don't Explain came out earlier this year.

I will probably never listen to it again tbh." I think people rate based on how many things the album gets wrong - instead of what it is missing. TOTBL doesn't get much wrong at all, so people agree that it's near perfect, but then again it really isn't doing too much to get wrong in the first place. More ambitious albums tend to receive lower ratings, even if some people will end up enjoying them for longer.

YetAnotherBrick 10.28.11	And TOTBL was a big grower for me. It is a little dull and unambitious at first, but with repeated listens you hear that the songs are actually extremely well-written, and actually pretty affecting. I do agree that what's wrong with it is what it's missing, though. But that doesn't mean I enjoy it any less. I hope that paragraph wasn't a complete clusterfuck lol
