Back From Chicago!

Just got back from the Chicago Riot Fest, Second year going. Imma just say that the way it was set up this year was stupid, it took far too long to get to each stage, but other than that it was awesome.. except the rain, fuck the rain man
1Title Fight
The Last Thing You Forget

Enter the gates, takes a few minutes before you hit any stages annnnd I ended up
losing my 3 day pass on the ground. 5 minutes in, sadly I fond someone elses and
couldnt find them, so I kinda had no choice but to use theirs. Title Fight was alright
2Circa Survive
Blue Sky Noise

They were okay, Anthony Green is a weird mother fucker, kept on saying "come my
little chickies" then rubbed mud on everyones faces
3Stiff Little Fingers
Nobody's Hero

these guys packed energy, they were certainly one of the best of the entire
weekend.
4Clutch
Blast Tyrant

Clutch was definitely the highlight of the entire day. Neil Is such an awesome
frontman
5NOFX
The Decline

they played Punk In Drublic in its entirety, only saw last two songs they played off
of it, But they had twenty minutes left and I heard that familiar intro. I was never
so excited to hear a song live, they started the Decline. It only lasted 15 minutes
though when someone came on stage and said they were about to go over their
time and had to leave.
6Mastodon
Crack The Skye
7The Offspring
Smash

The played Smash.
8Rise Against
Siren Song Of The Counter Culture

Disappointing, They played the same set they did the day before in chicago, except
they cut the songs from Revolutions out. Their Preformance wasnt too special
either.
9Anti-flag
Die For The Government

First Band of the second day, also second time Ive seen them and they never
disappoint, another highlight of the weekend
10Samiam
You Are Freaking Me Out
117 Seconds
The Crew
12Streetlight Manifesto
Everything Goes Numb

Best show of the weekend, left 7 seconds early to walk the 10+ minute walk to
their stage. They continue to be my favorite live band.
13The World Is A Beautiful Place...
Whenever, If Ever
14The Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Let's Face It
15Me First And The Gimme Gimmes
Blow In the Wind
16Wu-Tang Clan
Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)

AWWWWWW SHIT WU-TANG
17Metric
Fantasies
18The National
Alligator

Headliner of the second night, they put on a fantastic show.
19Laura Stevenson
Sit Resist

Final day, sadly I was late so I missed The Menzingers
20The Front Bottoms
Talon Of The Hawk

Never listened before, but it was a great show
21 The Whigs
Enjoy The Company
22The Hold Steady
Stay Positive
23Tiny Moving Parts
Pleasant Living

Didn't know these guys are from Minnesota
24La Dispute
Rooms Of The House

Sad lack of Somewhere at the bottom..
25Mineral
The Power Of Failing

for the weekend
