Atari: My first Vinyl record

Atari 02.26.15	these are just albums i wouldn't mind adding to my collection off the top of my head. might add more if i think of them. what do you guys suggest i pick up on Vinyl?

cvlts 02.26.15	Congrats man. Vinyl collecting basically made me fall in love with music all over again. Unless you want a shitty bootleg I doubt you're gonna find 3 as they've only officially pressed it once (to my knowledge) but the rest should be pretty easy to find (never heard of 10 though...) As for essential records for collectors, I'd say your favorite Elliott Smith album (aka. all of them), DJ Shadow - Entroducing, the first three A Tribe Called Quest albums, Minor Threats discography LP, Miles Davis - Kind of Blue, and your favorite Sabbath/Dio/Osbourne album.

TheSpaceMan 02.27.15	sweet man its a very rewarding hobby, esp if you like music enough to be on sput! I'd rec starting your collection with your favorite albums that go for less that $25 cause you're gonna be stuck jamming the same few albums over and over till you get things going

puntugruhm 03.11.15	born too late is great for vinyl. portishead s/t, some ragtime is awesome, get your favorite blues record, a love supreme is a must. when you get good speakers, sunn is fucking phenomenal. my first was "everybody loves the sunshine" by roy ayers. i highly recommend that as well.
Hopelust 03.11.15	First vinyl was Hopesfall - The Satellite Years. Purchase any Coldplay album, if you like Coldplay. All their shit on vinyl sounds significantly better than on other mediums.
