Happy Music!

Sometimes happy music is darker and heavier than stuff that is obviously dark, because it explores more nuance and doesn't feed you melancholy directly.
1Boris
Flood

Prime example. I always found the sound on this very happy.
2Sweet Trip
Alura

One of their albums in need of a jam by more sputnikers. The detroit and ambient techno sections are so perfect. 5/5
3Soulstice (USA-CA)
Illusion

This is one of my favorite albums ever, like top 10, for real for real
4Date of Birth
Planet DOB

Another happy cool thing that should have 5 bajillion ratings just based on how cool and good it is
5Sweet Trip,Technicolor, Flowchart, Color Filter...
Drum & Bliss Vol. 2

I learned to love how Darla just was like "fuck it" and released this on streaming services with the first two songs CD skipping the mp3 at moments like mad lol.... I actually thought it was intentional and cool and it inspired me on my newest album. Another all time fave.
6Julien
Face of God

My girlfriend and best friend both hate this album but they have yet to influence with me with their hate. This is pure fun. 5/5

LOVETOVERS

The year 2000 (in my mind) converted to sound. A new EP that overshadows its rather predictable bandcamp-esque deconstructed club-lookin artwork. And this isn't deconstruct at all its all straight up jazzy car bass 5/5
8Macintosh Plus
Sick and Panic

An electronic artist doing what they want, probably gonna be mad influential in a few years time. These things are never met w praise right when they come out, so don't worry guys. Future music for happy future people. 5/5
9Sweet Trip
You Will Never Know Why Outtakes

Things To Ponder While Falling is not sad. But it is one of the best songs ever. 5/5
10K.P. and Envyi
Swing My Way

Such a short EP with two huge bangers; Swing My Way and Bass Is Lo

5/5
11Seefeel
Seefeel

Somehow people think this is just random noise guitar and hence the low, unfair rating. Need I remind you, its actually a 5/5!!!!! Seefeel changin the game
12DJ Dijital
The Prototype

Some of the most straight up miami ever. Fuckin bops hard and doesn't mess around. Super simple execution of bass music but done with immense care 5/5
13Vladislav Delay
Anima

He just came out w a new album called Rakka but I can already tell you it aint as good as this cybernetic entity of love 5/5
14Machine Girl
Gemini

Her best album and super duper happy fun 5/5
15Kronos Device
Qube

Moving Shadow meets Detroit shit, love it baby 5/5
