| R.i.p. The Living Doorway
It's been a week since one of the best sites on the entire net, "The
Living Doorway," was shut down by the DMCA. It's such a shame that
this happened, not only did TLD linked me to some artists that I
eventually loved (using eventually because at first I didn't "get" bands
like Mitochondrion, Portal, and Encoffination), but it also supported these
artists since a lot of them where basically unknown nobodies. So I'll miss
this blog; I'll miss JGD's dog & his funny rants, his amazing reviews, I his
ever-expanding love for underground metal. Here's hoping that Equivoke,
Slays for Days, Forever Cursed, & Cosmic Hearse - Don't follow suit. RIP
