will they ever fucking grow up im asking myself
| |
^ this. So tired of them just trying to re-create Tell All Your Friends with every album, they really ought to change their sound.
| |
This could be much worse, It's pretty catchy and I like it better than most of the songs off their self titled.
| |
I haven't liked any album since tell all your friends but this song is pretty good.
| |
surprisingly good
| |
it's alright.
| |
You guys really think this is them trying to sound like their old work? I don't hear it. If anything I hear them filtering new content through the energy of their old albums. The slow verses are nothing like their older work. The soaring hook gives the feel of the old albums. The ending has the energy of something from Where You Want To Be. At the end of the day, they're fucked. People either want them to mature or sound like their earlier days. I like the song. I actually think it sounds better live.
| |
meh, not terrible, but just not worth listening to again. A shame, really.
| |
my article included the tracklist and pre-order information
neg
| |
Oysterizer and ti0n are you guys deaf?
| |
uhhh. This sounds like their last boring album.
| |
not at all, adam sounds fantastic again and the band has gotten a lot tighter, that chorus is as gigantic as those in where you want to be, also what saintandrews said
| |
Couldn't finish it
| |
not great. the verses are fucking terrible and the chorus is generic. TBS is pretty done, at this point.
| |
nothing amazing but i liked it
| |
Scared to try it
| |
it's pretty much just an extension of their self-titled so make of that what you will
| |
Only because I was really disappointed with their last one...not because I don't like them
| |
dude listen to it, this is nothing like their last one
| |
yuh huh
| |
Andcas said he really liked this. Idk if I should believe him or not.
| |
The second half is sweet. First half is meh.
| |
well cyg considering he bitched about everything that isnt where you want to be then you should probably believe him, just for this one time
| |
Its not horrible but the drums hold it back, and the radioepic production comes across as lame. Its like they tried to make a sidewalks esq verse (fastpaced acoustic guitar/snare rolls). Even down to the post production orchestral sections. I mean their guitarist is almost in his 40s and cant come up with anything more creative than some early 2000s rehashed material?
| |
Good song, but sounds overproduced.
| |
gotta jam
| |
good production doesn't help them at all. song is okay but disappears behind the rest of their song catalog
| |
Decent.
| |
better than anything on s/t
| |
Don't really listen to this band anymore. Saw them not too long ago though and they were good. It wasn't the lead singer though, it was the main guy from a band called Underoath.
| |
thought it was going to suck but was pleasantly surprised. sounds like taking back sunday mixed with straylight run trying to sound like modern pop punk.
| |
Really disappointed. Song is straight cookie cutter, nothing you haven't seen already.
| |
yuh, but how often do you get something you haven't already seen
| |
At least every two weeks, but if we are talking about something I've never heard...every three weeks
| |
Band gets lumped in with a very hateable scene of which they aren't really a part. I put these guys and Brand New off to the side from the bands of the emo/post-hardcore ilk that popped up at the turn of the millenium.
| |
Well aren't you adorable, with your opinions
| |
Really like this song. You can really tell John Nolan wrote this. I guess this song is better than any off of their self titled.
But jesus christ, Eddie Reyes is getting fatter and fatter, that dude has given up. Not long until he's too fat to hold a guitar because he can't reach it past all that fat.
| |
he looks the same to me
| |
"^ this. So tired of them just trying to re-create Tell All Your Friends with every album, they really ought to change their sound."
Lol is this serious
| |
Pretty sure they've never tried to re-create Tell All Your Friends and that Reyes is the same size considering I saw him face to face a couple months ago.
| |
s'growing on me
chorus has been in my head all day
| |
This is actually pretty good if you're not a dick about it. It's a TBS song, yeah, but it's the first one with some actual passion in a long time imo
| |
Tell All Your Friends will never be recreated. That album was perfect for the music scene when it released. They've also strayed too far from that sound that it has led their more recent albums to sound absolutely abysmal. These guys were best at making emo music, but they fell off my radar once they tried to go too much to the rock side of music.
| |
thats pretty cool dude
| |
Comeback pls
