Anyone looking for something really atmospheric and melodic should check this. I think it's really good, probably better than their last record.

Some of the vox are extremely Weakling-esque at times - high pitched, wailing screams like on "Ancestors of Smoke". Love that style when it's done right.

Only heard the Panopticon split, which was decent.

The Light That Dwells... is a 4/5 easy. I wasn't really feeling the more raw production here. I'll listen again eventually, but I wasn't amazed on my cursory listen.

Pretty sure I had these guys rec'd to me a few weeks back. Sounds pretty awesome, 4.0 worthy at the moment and probably 4.5 after a few more listens.

Think Ancestors of Smoke could have been 2 separate songs, but the term splitting hairs comes to mind.

If it's better than the last record I'll love it instantly.

Yeah the production isn't the greatest, last record was better but I think the material here is stronger.

The second half of "Ancestors of Smoke" is quite simply brilliant.
