Shlohmo streams new album

2015-04-01 by PappyMason | 5 Comments
Almost four years since the release of his last album, Bad Vibes, L.A. beatmaker Shlohmo is streaming his latest album Dark Red over at The New York Times via Press Play.

While the album isn’t drastically different from his last full-length, Dark Red sees Shlohmo exhibit a darker, denser sound than we’ve come to expect from the producer.

Dark Red is out on the 7th April, via True Panther/WeDidIt

I really liked his 'Laid Out' EP.

This album's pretty interesting, I'm still undecided on it though - I guess time will tell if it really stands up - 'Bad Vibes' is still a great listen.
Some of the tracks here remind me of Holy Other's 'Held' album...

I would say the difference between this and Bad Vibes is pretty drastic. Especially if someone hadn't heard his work in between.
