Morbid Angel lose rhythm section

According to news posts from Blabbermouth.net, Florida death metal veterans Morbid Angel have parted ways anew with their classic bassist/vocalist David Vincent, with Steve Tucker being anew (sic) the replacement.

Steve Tucker has confirmed the news above, saying:

Yes! It is true. I am happy to announce that Trey and I are both stoked to be making music together, again?! Thank you for all of the great messages of support that I have received! To the haters, suck it!!! Again!

On the other hand, David Vincent has refrained from confirming his exit from the band, and commented as follows:

I am aware of Trey Azagthoth's announcement of a collaboration with Steve Tucker on new music. However, the inference that I have left Morbid Angel is incorrect. To be clear, I have not left Morbid Angel nor have I been asked to do so.

Vincent is not the only band member to depart from its ranks, as drummer Tim Yeung also left Morbid Angel in light of financial differences. Current plans for Morbid Angel revolve exclusively around writing music, according to Trey Azagthoth:

Steve Tucker and I are working together again for Morbid Angel and the next record will certainly be an amazingly sick World Beater!

Wasn't Vincent the one who brought all that industrial influence to the last record? Maybe without him working on the new album it'll actually be listenable.

Steve Tucker is back, fantastic news!

If Sandoval is still up to playing drums like in the not so distant past, Trey should check on him first.

I read an interview with him in Decibel and he indeed made Illud Divinum Insanus sound industrial. Not that I minded it but having Steve Tucker back in the fold will hopefully bring them closer to their last few records (they sounded good to me).

Tucker's post on facebook

"Here are a few answers to questions that I keep getting asked ...

What's up with David? I don't have a fucking clue , and I don't think that I am the only one .
Is Pete Sandoval coming back ?
I fucking wish that would happen !!!
Will there be both myself and David in MA ?
Hahahahhahhahahaha
Sorry man I play death metal , so, NO.

Who will play second guitar?

Pete is never coming back. He converted to Christianity and thus cannot spiritually engage with the band anymore.

Sandoval is drumming for Terrorizer though (they are coming to Greece for two dates this summer), so he's still into metal.
