Cool, checking this out now.

"melnadaid, you are another idiot talking shit about a band you obviously know nothing about. Look at the averages for their albums. You really think this is a shit band? Yes their last EP and album were hit and miss but I bet you wouldn't be able to get through any of their older albums with the understanding of why they are rated so high. Go back and listen to music you know like emo and hip-hop but be careful insulting a great post-metal band, a genre you know nothing about."
Thanks for reposting my post LivingTurd, I mean LivingThrowaway. My fanboyism was pretty bad in that post. But I love me some Rosetta, what can I say?

Got mine in the mail yesterday, is awesome.
And I like the artwork
|
| |
it's better than i was originally expecting but the songwriting (every song feeling like the exact same basic structure) is a bit too straightforward and in terms of texture it's not as interesting as earlier records
untitled ii is sweet though

Nothing beats The Galilean Satellites or Wake/Lift but I've enjoyed all of their albums so far.
|
| |
Is solid album, I still think the production sounds a bit muffled. They should work on bringing out the power of Grossman's bass cuz it sounds kind of low on the last couple releases imo.
|
| |
Glad this is out, however I'm hoping they keep Eric's vocals to a minimum. Seemed way out of place in the songs they released.
|
| |
I don't think so, I thought they were pretty rad. Good album is good.
|
| |
digging the fuck out of this

"Nothing beats The Galilean Satellites or Wake/Lift"
determinism is definitely up there with those albums imo
|
| |
its awesome, better than wake/lift imo
|
| |
^
Easily my AOTY so far. Only time will tell, but I can see myself liking this album more than Wake/Lift in the long run.

Someone else review this. I did their last two albums and I feel like I'm just jerkin myself off here.
|
| |
Untitled V is incredible. It's really nice that they're offering this for free.
|
| |
Definitely much more focused than The Anaesthete, the clean singing wasn't that out of place imo either. Just glad they didn't change to all clean.
|
| |
The clean vocals are average for the most part, but they fit extremely well on this record.
|
| |
The way I've come to know Rosetta, it seems like only Mike's vocals suit their music. But maybe I'll warm up to it.
|
| |
I'm really surprised this didn't get a review yet. Very good album btw.
