but their videos are really cute and make me happy, i love the singer's voice so much too

I've tried to get into these guys but I just can't. I don't understand people's love for these guys. Vocals annoy the hell out of me, lyrics are dripping with angst (in an off putting way), and most of their songs sound the same.
