The Matches release new lyric video 2015-10-31 by Rolling Girl | 4 Comments | Pop punk bandThe Matches have released a lyric video for the song 'Life of a Match'. The song is taken from their new EP which was released on October the 8th.
The band also added the following statement:
"The song is a tribute to the fans we made over the time we were an active band. The coming up, the breaking through, the making friends and fans… But, watching this video, it became a tribute to all the bands as well. Not to compare with today's music, but this song was about our time. Bands we shared the stage with, listened to, and loved were all touring bands. Passion-filled lifers. We would all record an album on a shoestring budget, get in a shitty van and tour. Sleep on floors, live off of other peoples generosity, and play with all our hearts like every night was our last show. And you were all there to give it right back
