Soulfly's Titan-ic video

2016-01-14 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 6 Comments
Soulfly have released a new lyric video for their song "Titans", from the 2015 album Archangel. The album, dealing with various aspects of religion and mythology, was released in August 2015 and is the final album to feature Tony Campos, who left in May to perform in Fear Factory.

TBH I think Archangel is Max's best album lyrically for about 20 years now

On a podcast I heard him basically admit that he ran out of ideas lyrically and milked the bible for ideas.

Cheesy as fuck video but I guess that's the point, track rules though m/ I'm pretty interested in Greek mythology too so double whammy. Now I've got a reason to check this out if Savages wasnt enough.

Well NonApplicable it seems to have paid off. I do think he needs a year out though to recharge and get some more lyrical ideas cos even if the riffs are still coming, they don't work as Soulfly songs without lyrics.
