I don't like the chorus and I don't like that soft bridge thing TWY always does these days but I think the song will grow on me. Love the trumpet and the percussion.

| |
If it's more bar band/wedding band drab then I won't bother. Love his stuff in TWY, though.
|
| |
songs good, should be a solid ep
|
| |
I like this a lot, it's an interesting continuation of the debut.

@dmp3131
I agree, this is a direct sequel to We Don't Have Each Other complete with a reference to paying back The Thunderbird Inn.
This song is amazing as well, pre-ordered right away.
|
| |
It's a good song, very much in the vein of the superb We Don't Have Each Other. I agree the chorus is a bit strange though. The video is pretty cool too
|
| |
good
|
| |
very good
|

Fantastic song. The man really knows how to tell a story. The Gaslight-esque americana themes are a perfect marriage to his brand of folk-punk.
|
| |
Horrible. This and TWY (classic tv show ripoff) need to disappear.

I'm going to beat this mothafucka to death with a can of Chunky Chicken Noodle next time he comes and cocks up a house show I'm at.

seriously tho soupy is more irritating than those rvivr cunts and that queef from joyce manor combined. foh and take yer soapbox with ya, bitch nigga
|
| |
Well, I like it
|
| |
Soupy= A 40 something acting like a 20 something hipster
|
| |
and he never ONCE paid for drugs!
|
| |
there are far more toxic songwriters out there than Soupy. think about bands like front porch step, real friends, man overboard, and neck deep.
TGG and Suburbia are both solid albums and the last aaron west lp was good. Soupy is a good song writer despite the hipsterness.
|
| |
wow dude "tardfucker" is a really cool word nice job there
|
| |
like you want soupy to grow up and you're on the internet calling him a tardfucker its so funny
