doo doo do-do doo...

better than their debut, despite a few Circa Survive-ish moments
| |
shit throws back hardcore, sounds just like TTN but a liiiiittle better, which is all I wanted out of this. Some parts tread a bit of new territory. I distinctly remember a song reminding of MCR.
And yall was worried this wouldnt riff.
| |
This is pretty swell, guys. Nice riffs here and there, overall melodic and serene mood, and Anthony is as perfect as always.
| |
that last song is fantastic
| |
awe nioce
| |
not available in Australia GOD DAMNIT
| |
this is so better than I expected tbh
| |
Pandora can blow me. I hate this exclusive streaming rights bullshit.
| |
If this is half as good as y'all are claiming, I'll be stoked.
| |
Got this preordered. I think I'll wait
| |
dude, this is tight as
| |
Loving this. Haters gonna hate.
| |
There's no way this will be as good as Translating The Name but whatever
| |
4 songs in and underwhelmed so far
| |
this is killer
| |
Great news, checking this out now.
| |
fucking geo blocking. Can't listen to it here in Brazil.
guess I'll wait a few more weeks to listen.
| |
Anthony Green is tight and all... but it's like after their self titled they forgot how to write a chorus.
| |
I will admit that sometimes their choruses don't fulfill their melodic potential, but these songs are growing on me big time -- there's hugely catchy moments in the verses as well, so it's not mattering so much to me.
| |
Album is a solid 4.5
| |
Totes!
| |
album is very OK
ya'll have some low standards
| |
There's a bit too much Circa Survive influence in this to be on the same wavelength as Translating the Name, but I still enjoyed this a lot.
| |
Disappointed. You can hear the Circa influence almost everywhere and it makes the songs sound slow and uninspired. Forcing unfitting screams into a bunch of sections doesn't help.
| |
definitely not Translating caliber. It does get better around track 6 though, maybe my expectations were too high. the vocal melodies don't really go anywhere.
