Think this release is fan service more than anything, I enjoy some of the demos

Still hilarious to me that the band had that video for BIG NEWS coming, and all the fucking fans LOST THEIR SHIT (thinking it was a reunion/comeback) enough for the band to immediately follow up the news with they aren't getting back together...they were just rereleasing the same album all their fans already had. Fuck that was funny.

What's even more funny is they got excited and they ended up releasing terrible demos.

I bet some of their fans are eating those demos up cookie monster style.

I mean some of the live demo versions of b-sides like Kill All Your Friends already exist in pristine studio quality (aka brickwalled and clearly made with a budget rather than second wave black metal tier production quality of every demo on the album) so it's all the more pointless and disrespectful to the hopeful fans

If demos existed in pristine studio quality, they wouldn't need to be brickwalled. I know what you meant, and I know I'm being pedantic, but just thought I'd throw that in there. Always wanted to hear the unmastered multitracks/sessions from this album, cause I hate the original mixes and mastering.

Holy shit, yeah, this is bad, but have you guys listened to The Black Parade cover album that came out a few weeks ago? It is one of the worst things I've heard.

my hope is that we never talk about the cover album and hope that it just fades into obscurity.
