who even plays in this band anymore
|

the drums are weird at that one part where they should be regular blasts but aren't (???), but otherwise this was a decent track. I think they definitely *should* be going down this more punk-oriented road, since it clearly works better for them at this point. Lyrically is wasn't great, but aside from that and the drums this was pretty OK.

that's a really nice album cover
|
| |
Best album cover for a while.

"who even plays in this band anymore "
I do, they are great, unlike Cavalera's projects.
|
| |
And the cover is a poor imitation of Arise. Previous album had better cover.
|
| |
that was not an answer to the question I asked
|
| |
Oh shit. Misread it. Lol
|
| |
Not bad.

""who even plays in this band anymore "

Sounds like something Cavalera would actually say
|

😂😂😂 truuuu
|

Actually a good track, like the art too.
|
| |
this some kind of Yes tribute or
|
| |
yeh i was pleasantly surprised that this was a decent track. hope they keep their songs nice and short in general since it suits them better
|
| |
I preferred the last album's artwork, i liked the sketched style.
As to the question, the band's lineup hasn't changed since 2012 (Eloy Casagrande joining). Derrick joined in 1997, Andreas in 1987 and Paulo in 1985 but there's no founding members from 1984 left.

hurr durr clever article title

the enemy of good music
|
| |
i guess ur the enemy of sepultura
|
| |
Excuse me I'm from Argentina, but Sepultura stopped to be our Latin-America Proudest groove metal band since Max left. JUST FUCKING QUIT
|
| |
De La Tierra is a good Latin metal band now. Andreas' songwriting there is a lot better, probably because it's not just left to him to write all the music and there's 3 other very capable songwriters in the band (Andrés Giménez of Argentina's ANIMAL, Sr Flavio of Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Mana's Alex González). I think most of the writing is down to Giménez and Kisser though cos Sr Flavio and Alex González come from ska and pop bands. I was surprised to see they'd released a new album this week though, it had next to no promotion.

I heard that they are great, I have to give them a chance
