Good song.

it's boring
| |
I really want to like this but it's far worse from Green Light. At least Green Light felt like genuine, this just doesn't feel right. It feels like she's trying to do the Pure Heroine thing, but the whole lyricism is just off and the production sounds awkward and ugh I want to love this and I'm sure it'll grow on me but it's whatever right now
| |
I'm not trying to be snarky here, but I just don't understand the appeal to Lorde. Her music makes me feel like nothing is going on.
| |
I just don't understand the appeal to Lorde [2]
| |
Yeah, this is pretty, but definitely worse than Green Light. Maybe this will sound better in the context of the album.
| |
I do understand the appeal to her, but both the new songs do nothing for me. As for Liability, I feel like I've head that piano theme a million times before.
| |
Sounds like a Regina Spektor cover.
Not bad, just not as good as Green Light. Still have high hopes for the album.
| |
OMG ANOTHER ONE
| |
LordePots?
| |
eh, I think it's better than the last single... It's harder to fuck up a piano-only instrumental.
Still mediocre.
| |
Loved her debut and I'll probably give Melo a shot. Hopefully these tracks sound better in the album's whollistic context? Maybe?
| |
Randy Marsh is my favorite pop artist.
| |
0 for 2 Lorde
goddamnit this sucks
| |
Randy Marsh is my favorite everything
| |
that meme needs to die
| |
One of the comments said how similar the chord progression is to Welcome to the Black Parade. Now I think of it every time I hear this song's chorus
| |
this is ridiculously mediocre
| |
TVC15 I am right there with you. Read the same comment and now I can't unhear it
| |
I'm actually digging this even more than Green Light, really stoked for the album now. This has echoes of Lorde's cover of "Ladder Song" on the Mockingjay soundtrack, which was also great.
| |
it's okay. it needs to grow just like green light did
| |
sucks and sounds like a regina spektor song
| |
This song melts my heart ❤️❤️❤️
| |
Lorde was, like, 17 when Pure Heroine came out. That's insane. It's hard to even grasp that concept for me; a 17-year-old becoming famous overnight with one song. Heck.
| |
yeah it's impressive, i'd like to see some ID though to prove she's not in her late 40's
| |
Sounds like a Regina Spektor cover. [2]
Which makes it better than "Green Light" but still ehh
| |
:[
| |
Lorde's cover of Ladder Song was great [2]
even though she tried too hard to sound like Connor and ended up sounding like LDR
| |
Pretty average, much like greenlight. So far this album seems like a solid 3.
| |
Average, nothing special. I hope rest of album will be better.
