Not nearly as good as Lustration, but I imagine this will fit in better on the album. Consider me hyped, though Hopeless Records just seems so random for this group. Not gonna lie though this sounds like it coulda been straight off Saosin's most recent. Instrumentals aren't prominent enough here imo

everything anthony has made since violent waves has been boring and homogenous. across all his projects.

Yeah man. Child Of The Desert was so boring. And it sounded exactly like Phantom. Which was basically a rip off of Nesting Dolls. And all of those songs were just like Better Half. Which also borrowed everything from Old Friends.

I'm not rolling my eyes into the back of my skull.

Looses some steam in the bridge for me, but otherwise I like this quite a bit.
Record is gonna be solid.

Don't really get some of the complains about the song. Simply put: If you like Circa, you should like it.

wow I guess I'm alone here. This is better than most of Descensus and a good portion of VW too. I love the type of sound they are going for here, it's the most clever of their more "hardcore" tracks and it has some nice prog influence too. I think they outdid themselves here

i dig it, it just sounds like a tiny step up from what you might find on Saosin's last album.

"Hopeless Records just seems so random for this group."

Not really at all. If anything, Sumerian was random as hell. Song is pretty good honestly

It's good, as to be expected. Unfortunately, Circa seems to have been on autopilot since Violent Waves. They're still very good, but it feels like they're okay with just being good. Maybe the full album will be better, but right now, I'm thinking a 3-3.5 for this album. It'll still be good regardless.
