I like Howard but goddamn his recent output is not interesting.

Is this bad? I'm sure it's bad. Poor Howard is condemned to sub-par metalcore for the rest of his life.

it's not great. it's not metalcore, basically heavy mainstream rock with only cleans. howard's vocals sound better than they have in a while, though.

Poor Howard, he crapped the bed on S/T and ever since he's just had a scarlet letter. This song is not good, it's just bringing back painful memories...

I saw these guys live and they were good, but I doubt I would like their studio material. Genuinely surprised they're already one a 3rd record, I don't remember anything regarding the second lol.

I think that's a mistake, they released only one record as Devil You Know. Could be wrong. LOL at the name change though

Same lineup and new name right? Just going mainstream buttcore?

To my knowledge their guitarist and drummer changed (Guitarist had the rights to the name, hence the change). But they released two albums under Devil You Know.

Yeah, re-naming the band after a Soilwork single from one of their worst-received albums to date. The whole shebang.

For the amount of talent this band has I can't help but fell like the music is so bland.

You can say that about a lot of bands today like All That Remains and Arch Enemy.
