a lot lighter than their last single & it may take some time to adjust to Spencer's new vocal style...
but Underoath are back! so stoked to see/hear Aaron on drum's again.
| |
I personally enjoyed this , but this is a step below in terms of quality for Underoath. Still glad they're releasing new music, I'll take it, still excited for the new record.
| |
It’s clearly not the best song they’ve released, but it’s still really well done
| |
I keep watching those things push through the white curtains, hoping to see some hard nips or maybe even a boner would be nice
| |
this is not good. Production blows, song structure is super boring. This album is shaping up to be a 2
| |
This is horrible. Absolute butt rock nonsense. First single was ok but this sucks.
| |
so they're a normie rock band now.
| |
i don't hate it but yeah this is pretty meh for them
| |
The lyrics feel really generic.
bloc I def saw a few nips but not sure who they belonged to lol
| |
this is not underoath....
| |
Sweet, eagle eyed JAV is on it
| |
It's been 8 years since Disambiguation, 10 years since Aaron's been in the band. It's no shocker they're a more tame band, that being said this is sterile AF
| |
They have kids now, yet they decided to say "fuck" in their new song tsk tsk
| |
Ooooo guess Underoath won't be going on their youth group church band tour anymore, can't be saying that word in church.
| |
This is an embarrassing track compared to pretty much anything else they've done.
| |
When's the tour with Korn?
| |
TERRIBLE
| |
We don’t want Sleepwave V2.0
| |
Oh man, really wasn't expecting to hear radio rock. This sucks, and I love Underoath.
| |
We don’t want Sleepwave V2.0 [2]
| |
If the album has more tracks like these then they should have just stayed broken up. Not sorry.
| |
Spencer where are the LOWS my boi????
| |
No, but he hasn't used them on either song and I want to hear them
| |
Sounds like P.S. I Love You by Robin Daggers
| |
not bad, but not great. I liked it enough even if it's typical post-hardcore.
I just wish the production was a lot better, but of course they had to get Matt Squire on board.
| |
I really enjoyed the first single, I’m still jamming it every day, but this one is soooo boring. I was tapped out like 4 seconds into the chorus.
As for how this affects my expectations for the album: inconclusive
| |
All aboard the d-list nu metal revival train
| |
Get this Sleepwave out of my Underoath pls
| |
I'm not a fan of this.
| |
Wtf when did these guys turn into Breaking Benjamin
| |
I like this song, but I hate that this is coming from Underoath :,(
*goes and yanks to DtGL*
| |
Post-post-grunge butt rock revival trash.
| |
definitely not the Underoath i know or dig but whatever
| |
man Underoath just sucks now
| |
Below average single [2]

We don’t want Sleepwave V2.0 [4]

Looks like they're trying to make it onto the new Sonic game OST. This is so far below the standard that Underoath has set throughout their career. I'd rather listen to songs from Act of Depression(which is a very hard listen for me) than hear this watered down, substance lacking mess of a track. What the heck, Underoath?!
| |
So weak. I don't even dislike the song, it's fine for what it is. But this is motherfucking Underoath. They are one of the most talented bands that ever hit this scene and this shit is so far beneath them from a songwriting standpoint that it's mind-blowing. How did the band that wrote all those amazing albums think that THIS was good enough?
Just sad man.
| |
These two singles have not been good
| |
why is anyone surprised, they've always been this bad
| |
This is obviously their Octane single.
| |
This is obviously their Octane single. [234]
| |
hmmm....Not sure what to think.
Production is muddy and we only got a tiny bit of Aaron singing. Spencer sounds great, better than his sleepwave stuff.
| |
Don't bring Korn into this. They're not even this bad. Did I hear, "crooked tongue, so pale and young."
It's like a Nickelback song lyrically meets a half ass Underoath. Pretty terrible.
| |
I like your pants around your feet
| |
i thought it was ok and then go to the chorus lmao
| |
I thought the red haired dude sang cleans?
| |
shut the fuck up
| |
Hey, underoath.. this isn't it my dudes
| |
Damn, Tyler. In a bad mood, I see
| |
I think Spencer is just bitter that nobody like his Sleepwaves stuff so he decides to make another Sleepwaves album under the Underoath banner...or not. But it's funny how hard he defend this shit on twitter and on Facebook.
| |
Tried so hard to enjoy this and not jump on the hate train, but it's incredibly bad. Not a single track from their past 4 albums even comes close to being this unlistenable. This could literally be any band, and i'm not mad, im just disappointed. On My Teeth was decent, still gives me some hope. Album better deliver or im gonna be bitter as fuck.
| |
meh
| |
sin, my man
| |
this isn't good don't convince yourself because of the good ol' underoath days.
First single was better
| |
this isn't the Underoath we all know and love ? I don't know what else to say.
| |
Jesus this is a step down.
| |
Needs moar Opeth
| |
who?
| |
Maybe they should have stayed in retirement.
| |
Or bring Dallas Taylor back.
| |
Sounding a little too close to the new Bring me the horizon
| |
it's so cringey.
sometimes i wonder if the reason artists like this regress to generic radio rock is because they feel done with music, but have no other qualifications/background to do anything else because music is all they've done since they were 16.
this is exactly what fall out boy did. "disbanded" and then came back super uninspired a few years later.
| |
so I guess the ginger never sang. no answers from you people. I could have sworn he did. Maybe wrong band.
| |
Well, that was really gay.
