Murder by Death announce new Space Western

2018-06-01 by sncold | 16 Comments
Beloved Americana band Murder By Death, known for their unique album concepts and ideas, have announced that their 8th LP entitled "The Other Shore" will be released later this year and have described it as being "basically a Space Western" as seen in the following statement from their Facebook page:

"The Other Shore" is basically a space western. It's about a ravaged earth and love that spans an impossible distance. It has manic highs & deep dark lows; brutally raw moments of realization & self-doubt. It's an epic journey that we poured our hearts into. Also, big album release US tour is on sale now! See ya out there! - MBD

You can support/pre-order the album on their new Kickstarter which is littered with awesome reward tiers: http://kck.st/2Lf4ZZH

Awesome. Band fucking owns.

If anyone can do a space western justice, it is MBD.

Super pumped about this. Already got tickets to see them down D.C.-ways in October, this just sweetens the deal.

I love BDL, I think I gave it a 4 or 4.5, but I still think it's the weakest of their discography. which says a lot hahaha this band rules

Hope it rules. These guys are hit or miss for me album wise, but when they're on point, they're a certain music fix I can't get anywhere else.

(I kinda hated Big Dark Love, for the record.)
