honestly i barely was able to skim it but from what i did get theyre done touring and max is gonna stop for a while after this album. also sherri posted something and i think she said something about him having a ptsd breakdown or something
the whole thing is a lot to read and i havent had the time to really read through and process everything yet

Tldr was pretty much that he's queer, he's sick of people thinking he's the character he created on Is a Real Boy, he's exhausted from touring and kind of did some unhealthy shit for the new album, and he isn't going to be a touring musician for the foreseeable future.

I haven't really been crazy about anything since the self-titled and that was years ago now. Putting this project to rest sounds like the best thing at this point. Hopefully, this last album can end it on a high note.

song absolutely bumps, and I just read through the statement that came with it... very touching, honest, and occasionally funny in a very Bemis way. dude seems to be in a good place making the right decisions and I hope he stays there
