Fuckin slaps.
| |
Absolute bop.
| |
its okay but it just sounds like recycled metalcore tropes that have been around for the past decade. nothing new or memorable here.
| |
This rules.
| |
Why does everything have to be groundbreaking to be good? Just accept it for its badassery
| |
First single got me tearing up, this single got me tearing up the pit
| |
slaps dick
| |
i can accept it as being basic if you'd like, i never said the song was bad.
| |
crushingly good, excited for june.
| |
Holy hell that last breakdown was heavy. Haven't gotten tingles from a metalcore band in a long time.
| |
First few seconds in and almost punched my wife

i did punch my wife

I was just thinking yesterday about how I should listen to this band more, and then they go and release a new song. Cool. It's good too.
| |
Absolutely fucking owns. So keen for the new album
| |
this wrecks, enjoy this way more than the first single
| |
Filthy. I've listened to this so many times already
| |
makes me want to stomp around my room
| |
record's shaping up to be a return to form. Pretty excited so far, wondering how the two singles represent the whole thing though. Hopefully they manage to avoid the cheese of some of dear youth's worst moments
| |
If any other band released this, I GUARANTEE you the comment section would be shitting on it.
| |
But they didn't, so it's non applicable.
| |
It’s an okay song
| |
Song is aight. That breakdown at the end ruined it though. Totally out of kilter with the rest of the song
| |
"Song is aight. That breakdown at the end ruined it though. Totally out of kilter with the rest of the song"

Band has a special place in my heart for when I was younger, but wish they grew up when I did obviously. what I once thought was hard is now soft as butter, and when grown ups are still trying to appeal to that like on that breakdown, its just like... dude... no. fuckin eye roll.
it is good to see them back and healthy and getting back after it though. Hope they got a couple songs just for themselves on the new 'bum. Bless 'em.
| |
band has been around for a decade+ and still relies on generic breakdowns and adolescent lyricism
| |
lol yeah total bummer their music doesnt fit your "maturity level"
foh
| |
sounds like i hit the "pressure point" with you. see what i did there?
| |
Got em
| |
the lyricism is fine
| |
No what did you do there? I wasn’t even talking to you lol
| |
@nash1311, I hear your self-defense.
@veninblazer, sorry to b elitist shit, but ur dig is paradise lost, which is great music as far as instrumentation goes, and lyrics r kinda respectable in concept as some of TGI is. But very similarly sophomoric, jokish, and repetitive in terms of like: "I've been listening to you for almost ten years, and you're still saying basically the same shit?" like I guess it makes sense. but it isn't what I'd wish for them or myself. I'd rather your music develop to a place where you weren't still saying you have to 'cut something out'. its kinda like scapegoating when you think deeply about it. similarly paradise lost always talking about like being forsaken or something lol. its just kinda ridiculous at the end of the day. but like sure, I hear u. new PL was kinda dope. this track is worse, but its still not terrible.
