Hot Water Music Return 2021-11-12 by deathofasalesman | 11 Comments | It's been four years since Hot Water Music's last album, Light It Up, and the Floridian emo-punkers are finally set to return with Feel the Void, set to release March 17, 2022. This announcement also includes a brand new single, a U.S. tour early 2022, and a European tour with BoySetsFire and Samian in October.
For recording the album, HWM reunited with producer Brian McTernan (Bane, Converge, Circa Survive) who helped them create the critically-acclaimed release Caution, as well as A Flight and a Crash and The New What Next. Vocalist Chuck Ragan has stated that the band has "used Hot Water Music as a vehicle for [their] own therapy" and that "this is a way for [them] to release all this angst and inspiration and positivity, and share music that drives [them] to become better people, better friends and better communities."

YES. wonderful news
| | | Sporadically decided to listen to these guys ago a couple days ago and this news drops. Pretty excited their working with Brian McTernan again
| | | Light It Up is one of my favorite albums of all time. Easily top 50 album of the last 5 years.
| | | I like this song, sounds like the album could kick hard, looking forward to this.
| | | Really? I can’t get into Light It Up, something about it. Maybe I should reconsider
I’ve always been a fan of The New What Next, which I bought at Best Buy when I was little with some allowance :p
| | | I think Light It Up is this big massive apocalyptic concept in a way and the tones they went with on that album really reinforce my feelings from it, the deep cuts come later in the album that flesh it out more. Love it. Gonna jam right now. Always wished it had a review, have had two paragraphs sitting on my computer for two years. Maybe one day.
| | | This news seems like a good reason to FIRE that bad boy up (the review I mean)
| | | Indeed
| | | Great song, but man his voice sounds like he has worked in coal mines his whole life
| | | Their run from Forever and Counting to Caution is unreal.
| | | Gutted that I'm missing the mini tour with A Wilhelm Scream right now. Hopefully I'll be able to catch them on this tour though.
