4. Shovel Beats Sceptre
5. Charlatan

Admittedly, this actually is a breath of fresh air.

I like it.

Yep that sure is black metal. Fast, grating and unoriginal.

You don't have to be original if you're the one who invented it

Marduk is sus simply due to dealing with WW2 German themes on a few albums, but I don't think the entire band is racist. In fact they literally just kicked out their bassist for being caught doing a nazi salute on video, and Morgan Hakansson called his actions deplorable. The vocalist Mortuus is most likely a Nazi though.

I think everyone has that one band where they don't understand why they aren't as praised as much as their peers. That band is Marduk for me. I think they are insanely consistent.

Consistently poor. One of the most two dimensional bands around. They’re stuck playing the most basic tremolo riffs, with the most basic rhythms, that were not even good 30 years ago.

I'm afraid black metal is not your type.

If you don't like Marduk, it doesn't mean you don't like black metal
