I like some old Sylosis but nowadays they just seem like one of those bands that's such a bland mishmash of different metal subgenres that they occupy none of them in the worst possible way.

Panzerchrist the other two singles were a lot more "typical". Deadwood in particular is a banger and a half. This doesn't do as much for me the half-time thrash stuff, but it's a good song.

Looking forward to the new record just to see, if new Sylosis will finally grab me. Haven't really vibed with anything they put out since COAA and EOTE. I can see that Josh has improved his vocals drastically, but man I miss the old melodic thrashy riffs.
