Damn, I'm gutted! Loved Sal! I get that he's not to everyone's tastes but I can't imagine Thank You Scientist without him. Super passionate guy, and he was always a great laugh at the live shows. He got me up on stage during Rude Goldberg Variations to have a dance off with another fan, ended up topless by the end of it lol. Really hope this isn't the end for TYS, they're one of my favourite bands of the past decade.

absolute tragedy, this band will never be the same without him
hopefully they'll find a good replacement for him assuming they will

He was definitely a unique vocalist, but probably my least favourite aspect of the band

Haven't followed the band much since Terraformer dropped. But Salvatore will be difficult to replace. Curious to see what comes next.

This hit hard. The dude was a great vocalist. Their instrumental cuts are really sweet so I'm sure they could still be great without vocals, and I also don't know how they could replace such a unique voice. Ugh....

Interested to see this band with a new vocal direction. Will be disappointed if they replace with a sound-alike.
|

Anthony Green's next project yeah?

Serious note, the singer from Fair To Midland would be perfect if he's still knocking about.
|
| |
To be perfectly honest he was a bit of a "weakest link" for me in TYS. But he's absolutely part of their identity so I wonder how they're gonna replace him.
|

I'm with anepicdeath here where I'd like to hear someone who sounds way different to start a new chapter of the band, but I could also love some instrumental jams
|
| |
Well, he's got three phenomenal albums and two fantastic EPs with the band under his belt. Gonna be tough to replace such a unique voice but family definitely comes first.
Would be okay with pure instrumentals but support whatever the band decides on next. m/

Glad he's doing what's best for himself and his family, but super sad to see him go. Hard for me to imagine TYS without him. Really gonna miss his great sense of humor and unique voice. It sure was fun, the times we all had . . .

I've kept up with what he's been doing since leaving and I'm afraid he really isn't in the music scene much anymore.

| |
Thank God! He was easily the weakest link of this band
|
| |
i was always kinda hoping Claudio would hop on a track with them ever since he brought them on Evil Ink Records years ago. Could be a good time for a fun one-off idk

Kudos to Sal for putting his family first. I kind of hope TYS continue as an instrumental act instead of replacing him.
