Review Summary: Think Ayreon but with thrash metal... BAM! Space metal! (with bad vocals)
Space... the final frontier... these are the voyages of the starship enterprise.
LOL just kidding it's only the band Vektor. A lot of people fall for that star wars joke which is why i started the review like that.
just a little bit of backstory, vektor are a space metal band. no they arent from space but they use space as an underlying theme which makes for some crazy stories to be told through their lyrics!!!!
its highly debatable whether they created a masterpiece with terminal remix. i am sitting on the fence with it because while it's musically very good, the vocals dont match the music. to get a good sense of what the music sounds like, imagine slayer but with cradle of filth on vocals. it's a bit of a bad mix in this humble reviewer's opinion.
Terminal Remix has one great strength; it's fanbase. Fans love it and I can definitely see why they keep giving it a perfect score. I'm not much of a fan so I feel comfortable with a 3/5 but who knows what the future holds. As my dad always says "son, it's a grow-er, not a show-er". I'm not sure what he means by that exactly but child protective services keep asking him questions.
in Conclusion, I give Terminal Remix a 3/5 but with 2 thumbs up and I highly recommend it to people who like Deep Space 9, Andromeda, Interstellar, and Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
A great band.
thank you for your time
