| AsleepInTheBack New Saya is also lovely, though I may have slightly overhyped it
| AsleepInTheBack Not imo. The new one is their best since Knife Man for my money. A lot cleaner, fair warning, but still very AJJ.
| JesperL so glad you like it! their other songs (there's maybe like 5?) are cute too (esp 'music box' which was released as a single during the album promo cycle but not included in the tracklist?)
| JesperL blush! check that leith ross album when you have the chance, feel like it would be up your alley :]
| ramon. wocka flocka springs eternal
| neekafat I've been good! Life is developing nicely! hbu? (: And yes Johnny turned me onto Saya Gray but Vulture Prince was a rec from an old friend, really loved it!
| JohnnyoftheWell i was likewise somewhat facetious with my description, but i don't think it's boring at all - almost all of those tracks are so succinct and mercurial, they land like torn-out half-pages of someone's diary, uncomfortable flashes of intimacy inadvertent intrigue and all. an oddly cogent companion to Material Girl in that (very loose) sense i guess hmm
| JohnnyoftheWell Damn this Saya Gray album is kinda fire. Was expecting something s***post/meme adjacent from the JPEG comp, but this is a real trip
| Atari haha, yeah that one brings some feels! glad you're digging :]
| Atari Hey man! Can?t let The Front Bottoms drop new music without my obligatory comment to u. Great batch of songs :) hope you enjoy them half as much me
| theBoneyKing I may write it up but not for a while, need to digest it. I already got up much earlier than I should have this morning to listen!
| MiloRuggles PS it's pre first draft and scattered, but there are ideas
| MiloRuggles heyhey, i see you've got the ol' aldous harding love bug!apologies for jumpin on that dib and doin nothing. i started somethin today but won't get to finishing in for a few days yet i'd imagine (got s*** on). feel free to jump in, edit, change things, set up a collab, or just do your own thang and publish (if you want to do anything that is!).here's a link: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Kp85ucU3Jg5ABHDF-1qxB42gonxHiR53VQ3dODW-dX8/edit
| Atari Hell yeah man, glad u dug it!!
| Atari Hey man, curious what u think of the new Mom Jeans if u get around to it. Have a feeling you might really dig it ;)
| JohnnyoftheWell what is this https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10691339-the-blushful-south-and-hippocrene
| JohnnyoftheWell Goodness, how dare you use my questions against me!! I pencilled in a couple of flighty responses that you may hopefully find satisfactory, otherwise all good! Only bit I'm not sure on is the Noct Animals long answer, just bc idk how well that will scan with no context to most people. It is a good comment though, so maybe a copy paste to neek's thread would be a better fate?
| JohnnyoftheWell Sorry for the delay, here you are! I feel like there are better qs I might have sniffed out for you, but hopefully these will give you something to chew over: https://docs.google.com/document/d/131Ytx0pZ987pq_Lp8sfI8Tnljlq3g3tYClSA-FrKb74/edit?usp=drivesdk
| JohnnyoftheWell Blush baby hello how are you? I have regained a substantial part of my lucidity and would love to channel it towards an interview with your good lovely self, if keen?
| Sowing Hey, I'm genuinely curious what you'd think of that Anna Leone record I just reviewed. Folk singer-songwriter fare that sort of reminds me of Lenker's "songs" in places.
| jimthefish i been recommending this Self Insert EP called Philias because its underrated and you'll prob like it. crazy fusion of electronic, emo, rock and hiphop. my fav song off it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbIlkN-iFb0
| Slex new Blake might be my fave since Overgrown, I love it
| JohnnyoftheWell i am also tired and missed your good comment in a squiddy netflix frenzy, but it is a good comment and requires no response other than perhaps a more-curious-than-before spin of that other new single gg good sir
| Atari the In Too Deep cover is how I discovered them haha ;)
| Atari just discovered Slow Pulp... damn this is so nice
| JesperL yay! it's been one of my go-to relaxing records of this year, such a pleasant listen. and thank you sm! :]
| JesperL hey hi have you jammed the sun june record from earlier this year? should be up your alley nu-rfc-indie-core-wise!
| JohnnyoftheWell Drat, I shall have to steal someone else's opinions for it! Isn't a firm project yet though, and I'm about to get drenched in drafts so maybe another time :[ And yes - sort-of - I'm basically a Eng first lang boi in residence, which sometimes amounts to teaching and other times really doesn't lol. V much feel you on that impeding panic though; not too many more months until I head home and land in the same boat. Watcha studying again?
| JohnnyoftheWell shoutbox ha ha more like cold storage !! woah exciting - gonna check mirrors soon *but* how keen are you to review it and how much keener are you to be obliquely interviewed about your experience of it for public consumption? i am very bored (mid-state of emergency / exam week for my students last week zzz) but otherwise good, how u?
| JohnnyoftheWell wow sorry the rest of my message gotd here it is: *heart emoji* what are your thoughts on dj seinfeld also how are you? big fan!!
| Atari to be honest I have no idea lol... just randomly discovered across that EP and thought of you ;)
| Atari hey man, I really think you might dig Worst Party Ever - Here, Online EP. feels like Front Bottoms meets Wiccca Phase Springs Eternal I think idk I'm digging it!
| Winesburgohio 2 more days until I'm reunited with my milieu and I have access to my laptop again bb xx
| Koris Hey, forgot to tell you but the theme of your Haley Heynderickx review - the whole thing about being imposed upon - was actually the biggest inspiration for the Dodie review I did recently :] seriously, that Haley Heynderickx review was so good
| hal1ax https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EXrk7qgYg8
| hal1ax nice dude glad u dig. um this is a new song of his that i like a lot. also, his most recent album. he's a bit of an acquired taste (or at least as been for me), but yea lmk what you think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=659s2ZZvVQw
| hal1ax https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cc7a4pOzw38
| Atari Hey pal, I bet you?d enjoy the new single Parchment
| neekafat It's amazing, can't stop listening to "Favor"
| Orb Ahh stahp ur making me blushful!!
| neekafat so proud of you for your love of the new julien (;
| Winesburgohio : 3 *whispers sultrily* u have my complete approbation
| Winesburgohio I know youre too pure to masturbate but I can only hope the new Julien Baker roused you to hitherto unexplored erotic heights nonetheless!
| AsleepInTheBack love ya blush thank you i am wholly underprepared for this endeavour and will try not to screw it up lol. not touched the new julien as im terrified that it won't live up to my unreasonable expectations ahhh but i should probably check it. im assuming you're working on some exceptionally pretty words for it rn? hopefully its landed well for you!
| JohnnyoftheWell oh lol, listening to it would defs be advised ;] lots of big impressions, lots of interesting decisions. if my vibe is accurate, you'll have Julien on the brain throughout the year anyway, so fingers crossed the flurry of exciting thoughts potentially orbiting you rn will come down to earth and you'll find it easy to lay out (if you so please!!) [ hiya sowing!]
| Sowing Sorry you're hitting a bit of a wall. Hopefully you're just referencing the review and nothing beyond :-) I'll happily toss DTs up top for the time being, and if you tackle it then I'll just pull the old switch-a-roo. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help, always.
| Sowing Where's my fly swatter, dammit (but I agree with JOTW, I'm a fan of your work)
| JohnnyoftheWell psst psst, fly on the wall: stick at that JB review!! wanna read your lovely words (and am suffering similarly with the new Cave rn :[) peace to you
| Sowing I super appreciate the offer, but I can't commit to it. Looks like we have a decent fallback option from one of our newest contributors, so I'm about to read that review and see if it's up to snuff. I'll wait for your submission first, but no pressure if you find yourself with a case of writer's block. :-) hope you've been well by the way!
| Dewinged Thank you Blush, if it wasn't for your constant effort and advise to improve my writing I wouldn't have even applied! Love you man!
| ian b nah nah nah you go for it :') save the spotlight for the users until yr done. im gonna probably review Hospital Bracelets debut, which i think you'd certainly enjoy aspects of btw!
| ian b thank you uwu i genuinely wouldn't have been able to without all the pointers youve given me over the years. also you first ;) i would snag the Julien Baker review but you best know that i'm waiting for your's instead !!!!
| MiloRuggles Allow me to deflect that praise back in your direction. Thanks for the vote of confidence, it means a lot coming from somebody whose writing is of such a consistently excellent quality.I personally think you're onto something in not commenting much. I was aghast to learn I had passed 1000
| AsleepInTheBack i neeeeed to jam that Hayley Williams, and yeah damn the Julien hype is real rn. im terrified of listening to it cause i know it won't ever mean as much to me as sprained ankle but ugh i want to love it to death so bad. my main jam atm is still the new psychedelic porn crumpets record, but i may give the new Black Sheep Wall a go. also returning to some of the old favourites (the tallest man on earth type sing along goodness). that Richard Dawson record is also amazing if you have a mo
| AsleepInTheBack ye i get you, sorry to hear that its bringing down your uni experience mate, i know id be livid. if it makes you feel any better, i also feel like im going nowhere in my job lol, it's hard to develop when you can get any supervision cause everyones wfh and not available to listen to a junior panic over basic tasks. i digress ... at least im still employed, they almost fired me at the start of all this haha
| AsleepInTheBack I hope everything else going aight with you these days, in the current strange circumstances. You been listening to anything particularly lovely lately?
| AsleepInTheBack Cheers mate ( : yeah the current contrib cohort is pretty neato, supportive bunch of people too. Ah cool - great that you're looking into employment law, though 5 years is a bit of a slog. I wouldn't worry too much about work experience tbh, at interviews I got asked more about non-legal extracurricular stuff than the useless internships I did tbh. Job prospects should hopefully bounce back post covid too!
| Pangea Great! i'm curious to hear your take
| Pangea Hey Blush, this is a maximalist and quirky indie/chamber pop album that still manages to be cute and warm https://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=387514 maybe you would dig?
| AsleepInTheBack On law, yeah, after 2 years of in practice training I qualified as an employment lawyer last September, so phew, finally made it haha. i have no doubt you'll be absolutely fine. the first few years are daunting but easier than you think, provided you seek out a firm with a good culture / respect for its people, cause they give you loads of support and make the transition from academic to practical law a lot easier. where are you at along the process? job apps yet or nah?
| AsleepInTheBack For sure - I completely agree re the songwriting/music feeling almost spontaneous, even though it's likely been meticulously crafted and put together. the illusion of a genuine in the moment experience is just lovely. and cheers mate! means a lot ( : particularly re the global list, lots of long evenings went into that lol. no plans for staff rn i don't think, for various reasons - chiefly that I still don't really like my writing lol - but it's certainly a long term goal for me
| AsleepInTheBack hey mate, hope all's well with you and yours. just wanted to drop by to say hi, and also thank you for writing all the lovely words re lenker's songs. growing into one of my faves of all time, so thanks for shouting its praise and convincing me to give it a whirl.
| hal1ax haha nice man. i thought you'd dig it. and yeah i love it as well tbh. it's like old arca meets wicca phase or some sh1t lol. the mix is a little muddy at times but never rly enough to deter my enjoyment of it. glad you like it tho.. i was rly stoked when i found it and felt like i needed to spread the gospel a bit lol.
| hal1ax https://monom.bandcamp.com/album/scarcity
| neekafat thank you so much blush :) I was really worried about it, Johnny helped me fix it up good!!
| hal1ax i honestly don't know anything similar man. i've never met another trance-emo rap hybrid before lol. but i'd like more too
| hal1ax weird that that Doves record this year isn't getting more traction on here. been playing the sh1t out of that thing
| dmathias52 Hoping to have something up this evening!
| neekafat Uh uhhhhhhh whatcha looking for??
| dedex many many thanks ur a sweety
| JesperL thanks so much! from exile is really sweet, i honestly wouldn't be opposed to them continuing down the more folky/country-esque path for their next full length as a healthy change of pace
| Atari I love how huge the hard way is
| Atari I do think it?s a bit too long tho after listening to it again today :/ some very strong moments tho without a doubt
| Atari probably between a 3.5 or 4! I was listening to Going Grey yesterday and I think it's actually grown off me a bit.. this one will probably have more lasting power overall
| Atari any chance you?ll review the new Front Bottoms?
| Slex I want to see Saint Maud so so bad, how the hell did you watch it? Thought it was still in release limbo
| Sowing Yeah it sounded great to me too. The other songs released thus far have also really grown on me. I'm excited to see how it will stack up against Halloween because I already suspect that it will top Dying Star quite easily.
| Sowing If you want to add a summary to display for your featured Rich People review go for it, otherwise I'll just let it roll with half of your intro paragraph :-)
| Gyromania I'm assuming you don't have fb lol. Anyway, I was going to suggest Bloodstained: Curse of thr Moon. Gorgeous pixel art, gerat mechanics and soundtrack, and honestly the perfect level of difficulty. I think it does Castlevania better than old school Castlevania. If you aren't acclimated to old schoool Castlevania it's prob going to piss you off lol. CotM is a fantastic jumping off point for getting into the genre. CotM2 juat launched a few days ago and I've nearly 100% it but it's WAY harder
| Sowing Nope! I need to hear it now though. I've been on a huge Ruston streak lately. 'Poison' practically chokes me up.
| Gyromania mechanical twists that change how you play the game, which is as much as I can say without spoiling it lol. Also Shovel Knight Treasure Trove, which just features an insane amount of content and is one of the best modern day platformers I've played; possibly like it even more than Celeste. And it's more metroidvania than straight up platformer but if you haven't played Hollow Knight yet, that's my game of the decade
| Gyromania Ah, s*** I'm bad at responding. Sorry man meant to reply way sooner. Celeste is an incredible game unlike any I've ever played. If you're looking for something as mechanically fun and challenging, well, you probably won't find it lol. If you're a fan of old school Castlevania types, go for Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon - easily one of the best games I played last decade. Also gotta recommend The Messenger which is another decade favourite of mine. Super fun platforming with some massive
| Atari knew I could count on you :]
| Atari loving this new single by the front bottoms (montgomery forever)!
| dmathias52 Yuuuup completely obsessed. Brave was already my most listened to song this year, beyond hyped for the full length after Rubber
| neekafat **** yeah man, so glad you're enjoying it c: Any faves?
| neekafat Blushhhhh you never rated Harrod and Funckkkk
| hal1ax ayy what's up my dude. uhhh initial favorites would prob have to be outta my head, pikachu, low, and sunset sunrise. loving how moody and hypnagogic this record is though. how about you?
| Willie That's fine. She's just looking for a tentative date. She has bosses to report to, ha ha.
| Willie Hey. Checking in on the Emily Keener review. I received an e-mail from the Rep today.
| Atari hell yeah!! felt good to 5 another Smithies album. never thought they'd write an album this optimistic and your review did it justice. how is the closing title track so damn good?
| Atari Ooooh! Of course not, my man! Can?t wait to read it with my morning coffee :)
| Atari Lol. My daughter?s been taking up most of my free time outside of work ;) I have a couple paragraphs but still have a ways to go.. post yours first?!
| AsleepInTheBack Where the hell is my goshdarn commemorative keychain, huh? Love ya blush - I'll do ya proud (i hope).
| Atari Cheers bud! I probably won?t have time to finish mine until this weekend so by all means feel free to still post yours first :) looking forward to seeing what you came up with as well!
| Atari Will I be stepping on your toes if I review the new Smith Street? If you?re still covering it I?ll let you post your review first but I love it so much I don?t know if I can help myself, haha
| JohnnyoftheWell hello Lord Hippocrene this is shameless and clingy but would you mind dropping a lil critique on my Sawayama review if you have the time? would be intrigued grateful to hear your thoughts
| Aberf Hey Blush! I actually wrote the lengthiest review so far, would you mind checking it? Thanks :D https://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/81146/Yung-Skrrt-Dumbass-Genius/
| granitenotebook thanks :) i know it is a lot so feel free to stop whenever you aant haha. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Gl_R0LPXODhLrCPPLFAZqBmBHxMn-7gc5jXYxxZJStA/edit?usp=drivesdk
| granitenotebook hi would you be interested in looking over a long review I wrote that needs some trimming down
| parksungjoon its actually not for me this time, but nonetheless id appreciate you looking at it!
| Aberf Bluuuuuuush, can you give some feedback on my latest review? I'd greatly appreciate it :D
| neekafat It's pretty good, a bit overrated but there are some big gems! And yeah, been having a lot of time on my hands lately for obvious reasons so I think I might actually slip back into reviewing more regularly for a bit (:
| parksungjoon best staff whomst i didnt even know was staff agreed
| neekafat good! Been on here a bit more often lately and i miss my boi (:
| budgie AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH *help help* helpppp
| Willie I need your e-mail address for that Emily Keener promo.
| Conmaniac Yess I rly dig some songs off Florida guilt. They have a new single out now!
| parksungjoon sure, hit me up! i'll your thingy as soon as i see it and add you
| parksungjoon https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=1034220
| Atari nice!! yeah OTIP is awesome but I actually prefer After the Party, I think that's my favorite Menzingers album
| parksungjoon aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh there's so many things i want to say in response to that that the shoutbox can't contain them all. is there any way i could contact you privately if you don't mind? bunch of sput folks got me to be more active on discord lately for example
| parksungjoon maybe i should spend less time trying to be funny and more time reading you and people who are actually good at this
| Atari Hey man, I saw your comment on my Spanish Love Songs review and just wanted to say thx for the kind words and the feeling is mutual :) I?m glad you dug the album more than Schmaltz!
| parksungjoon i am once again asking for your criticismical support. just because its a pisstake doesnt mean it cant be improved now i know humour is subjective but id really like your opinion in particular on this one https://www.sputnikmusic.com/review/80856/Sadistik-Exekution-The-Magus/
| WatchItExplode I dont know all the players but I read things that indicate calculated manipulation and a clear lack of empathy.
| WatchItExplode He was obviously twisted up inside but these signs point towards him purposefully hurting others without remorse.
| WatchItExplode Band really should have stayed dead. I imagine they are now. A truly sick person.
| WatchItExplode I will obviously look it up but my God what's happened?
| Winesburgohio i miss my gay friends 8( but will resume normal, handsome communication shortly : )
| Atari Tallest Man on Earth will 100% be on my list ;) btw that song I sent u should be on Spotify if the link doesn?t work
| Atari can't remember if you're a Nadia Reid fan but fuk this new track is so good https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osWgE_Y5Z0M
| Winesburgohio i'm team sprained ankle now god what an album!!!!!!! how grateful i am her hands and voice were left unhurt
| AsleepInTheBack No worries, just gonna spam threads and shoutboxes in search of conversation. What you up to these days?
| AsleepInTheBack Glad to hear it (: cant complain myself. I have not no, been out of the loop recently with music, will check. Where are people chilling these days - discord or sput or some third new dimension? Would be good to catch up with everyone
| AsleepInTheBack Hey blush, hope you're doing alright these days, it's been a minute.
| Slex Love ya too my dude!
| Slex Si, that is correct. I?m friends with a good number of Sput peeps
| Slex I don?t have Discord so FB would be better haha, how can I find you?
| Slex Not trying to be dramatic but I?ve decided I?m officially quitting the site for good, is there another way we could talk?
| Atari no worries! I think the vocals have improved on Proper. vs. their Great Wight debut but yeah maybe give it another spin when you're more in the mood for this kind of thing
| Atari just discovered an awesome band you need to check. Great Wight and Proper. (same band, they changed their name to Proper.) kinda like Say Anything but with an African-American singer; seems like something you'd enjoy
| brodega The list you made that date. Entry number seven. I appreciate your appreciation fam
| Atari Oh I just saw my comment got cut off! They have big front bottom vibes ;)
| Atari yo, I think you'd love this Devon Kay
| WatchItExplode It's very good but it makes me realize the moment in time that I fell in love with the band can never be reclaimed.
| Swag2 honestly, probably pretty boy millionaires or skate boy (both a fair bit older). outta curiosity, i feel like you'd enjoy this (despite its lyrical content)... interested to know what you think: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjAAF3VCznE
| Atari That Johanna Warren single is pretty great! Thx for the heads up, and for reading my Lagwagon review ;)
| granitenotebook np, ty for your constant words and i am glad you are enjoying it
| Atari I'm good, my man! just as busy as ever so haven't had much time to review but I do have something coming up ;) and I've only heard this album and the last one by Frankie Cosmos and the last one was just ok. There are several tracks on the new one I really love including the one I sent you. just seemed like your kind of thing. apparently a lot of people don't like her, lol. hope things are going well on your end!
| Atari hey man, it's been a minute! I would love to hear what you think of this track https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CxmXgOgjbQ
| eggyolk now that i think about it, the beat on shame is a ****ing mess lol... but tracy carries it, despite its cliche pop rap-isms.... rec wise, i'm gonna say peep keenanza's soundcloud (slikk's been dropping a track a day-ish: new tape otw???), otherwise: https://emoyardii.bandcamp.com/album/ape-s***
| eggyolk pretty much what i expected honestly... didn't like much of it save bad for you and maybe shame. dk wtf he was doing trying to sound like thug on that one track either. it's plain to see that the industry is starting to play their hand with him (more overtly at least).
| Gyromania haha it sure is! samus from metroid turned into a hollow knight character. i just beat the 5th pantheon in godhome, something i never thought i'd be able to pull off. now i can rest until silksong comes out
| Atari Sry for the late reply! That?s kind of you to say. I do miss writing but work and life has been so demanding lately :/ luci was supposed to cover the new Florist but he must have bailed, haha. Would love to read your thoughts on it!
| KingQueenKnave Thanks. You are the only one lol. I dont feel welcome hete.
| Slex I?ve been suffering writers block myself, must be a damn bug goin around. I?m sorry to hear it bud :( New Slaughter Beach is pretty solidly his weakest/most boring release but there?s some interesting lyricism so I?ll revisit it at least. Really hoping you love glass beach, album continuously blows me away
| Slex Ily and I?m excited to see whatever yr next review is
| Atari Nice Florist rating. Hope you?ve been well!!
| TheSpaceMan doing well, trying to survive my company's layoff rounds which is sticky but otherwise life's been treatin' me well. I was thinking the other day that I wanna write more reviews, means a lot to me when you say you'd like to see more pop out from me!
| TheSpaceMan hey dude, huge congratulations on making staff. must've missed it, but there's really not many people more deserving of it than you. keep it going my man!
| MiloRuggles That's cool man. Freelancing can definitely work out, just keep your eyes on the prize. Forreal tho, networking while you're at uni is massive. We definitely share some taste looking at your ratings, I just haven't rated anything haha
| MiloRuggles Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback! No doubt I've read and enjoyed your reviews over the years, I remember your Sprained Ankle one pretty well :)Not an alt, I've done some writing/editing in the past, but it's been freelance wherein I pretty much didn't get paid and was censored, so it's been a few years since I just went haywire and said whatever I want. I've lurked here for forever, and I'm kind of just venting steam by writing really selfishly for a change.
| Slex Man I finally checked Corbin and he?s so good, what a voice!
| Gyromania it reminds me of when i was really getting into emo back when i was in high school. 'in your own way' is easily my favourite song on the album. even if it's kind of cheesy, i just love the vocals. already played the song like 20 times lol. and yeah. my roommates have already made fun of me for listening to it haha
| Gyromania found out about a little light of our own through your write up for 'in our own way'. this is actually rly good stuff.
| neekafat "Oh, My Heart" is so so so good
| neekafat I would be honored if you would partake (: https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?mode=1
| ian b also, regarding Tracy those are definitely some of his best (besides popstar i dont care too much for), but XOXO has really big highlights, and VAMPIRE SPENDIN MONEY is easily his best pre-gbc project. but yea both Castles (esp II) projects are probably my favorite thing he's been apart of, all great verses plus "Your Favorite Dress" is easily Tracy's most entrancing song. also one last question, but what's your favorite overall project from Peep? for me it's either California Girls or LP Part 1
| ian b oh shiiiiit, yeah wow those are all incredible picks. most of those could absolutely be in my top 5-10. i completely forgot about Lights on paper for some reason, but that's definitely a top 3 for me. and yeah I'M LEBRON and PMIG are top 10 for me as well. Also those are great Peep picks, Light Show is very underrated imo but i dont know, there's something with me that i just can't really enjoy any Yunggoth song besides IDK How to Kill Myself.
| sixdegrees I like blue chews for the taste....I dont even need them
| ian b thanks for the warm welcome!! missed you dude, but the first favorites that come to mind are 1. SLEEPER, 2. Absolute in Doubt/JLIM, 3. Suffer On, 4. Kill Me 5. Rest 6. Scars on Me, your turn now ;) Also, since we?re on the topic of GBC, what are your favorites from Peep or Tracy?? i feel like i don?t know your opinions on their older work besides ratings. if i had to give a top 3 for peep it'd be 1. Veins 2. California World (or literally every single Nedarb collaboration lol), 3. Downtown
| Slex Yr praise and analysis has helped most of the way my friend
| luci he streamlined his sound and arrived at a more pure melancholy. it's a gentle slow drip of a record, I like it more with each listen
| luci came here to rec the organ tapes but someone's ahead of me, good to see
