| DrGonzo1937 just in case you're interested bud.https://www.sputnikmusic.com/blog/2024/02/04/dir-en-grey-a-diagnosis-from-a-faux-doctor/

| JohnnyoftheWell Ah yeah, I gave a couple of her records either side a check and thought generally GOOD things. Bitter and Sweet is awesome, think that might be my fav - did a write on that and a buncha other s*** here https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=204249

| GmemberKills As far Seiko goes she is overall hit or miss for me, but still a absolute icon. When she hits for me it's up there with the best. You should check her album 'Citron' if you haven't. Akina is def the queen though and more my style, i just love how much she took chances

| GmemberKills After 'Shaker' I've kinda skipped around. 'Fixer'
| GmemberKills Well I've jammed through most of Momoe Yamaguchi's albums from 76' on at least once. Almost all of them are solid even if some have a little bit of filler. Lots of classics though I really love Golden Flight (prob my fav actually got it on vinyl recently) , L.A. Blue, A Face in a Vision, and her final two albums.
| Uzumaki As always, lemme know what you think if/when you jam the new album!
| Uzumaki Weaker tracks would be ?Blinding Hope? and ?Moment?, the former because it simply didn?t click with me; body is decent but the chorus felt too poppy, and the latter might just get chalked up to a pacing/track list issue. It just feels out of place in the flow. Highlights would be ?Nox?, ?Daku?, ?Barbarian? and ?Last Song?.
| Uzumaki It?s actually quite good; spun it 3 times and it?s held up rather strongly. If you?ve listened to ?Dogma? and ?Ninth? you know pretty damn well what you?re getting here, and one could make an argument that ?Mass? is ?Ninth? 2.0, but this actually feels a little more polished and confident, or maybe it?s just me from not having listened to them for a bit. Definitely continues their stylistic rebound after ?Beautiful Deformity?.

| Uzumaki Lemme know what you think when you do!
| Uzumaki The changes in it are amazing. I might be a bit hyperbolic, but I was blown away.
| Uzumaki I know, right? Like, I enjoy talking about bands, but not when other people are fangirling over every little thing lol.
| Uzumaki Thanks very much! It?s also very nice to talk with like-minded j-rock fans on here!
| JohnnyoftheWell Heyhey, I'm thinking of getting a pretty low-key Sputnik j-music discord running - you down?
| CalculatingInfinity Hey, are you on Discord? I have a Buck-Tick server and we're having a watch event for Tour No.0 soon. I can send you an invite if you're interested.
| CalculatingInfinity There isn't really any bad shows they've done (one or two individual bad performances of songs though, everyone has them), just ones which are kinda boring. Also HELL YES TOUR ARUI! My fav live Blu Ray ever, every performance on it is stunning.
| CalculatingInfinity Yeah Symphony is essentially perfect for me, blows me away like the first day I jammed it still.
| CalculatingInfinity If they have the best songs ever and the production sucks I'll 2 it, it's that important to me. I quit Kamijo after he released Heart, which was woefully disappointing.
| CalculatingInfinity If Tue is producing it: Dir have a lot to prove and I hope they deliver. If Tue isn't producing then it's not going to be good.
| discovolante Most definitely. Barbee Boys are probably my favorite 80s band.
