| zakalwe Good lad. Enjoy. Doof had just reminded me as well. Grant Lee Buffalo. I have reviewed Fuzzy on this site. Top 5 greatest album of all time for me from when it was released until now and the remainder of the discog is well worth your time.
| zakalwe Hello mate. Oh Christ where do you start.Massive AttackRadio DeptDovesScreaming Trees Richard Hawley ElbowFugaziSaint Etienne
| mouldypigeon I had unexpected cherry tomato success too, if anything they're too abundant. The chillies are just decorative plants unless they get that summer heat though, and they seem to erupt in pests even indoors. Onions are the real game-changer!
| mouldypigeon Yes chilli man, the habanero is my favourite too. Good luck with your allotment, what else you hoping to grow? Last year I was drowning in scotch bonnets from one big plant grown in my porch so when it goes right you can definitely get a good supply.
| mouldypigeon Yes but you chose the best year not to do it. I have a singular miniscule dorset naga from four plants, two plants yet to even flower. Worst summer in memory. Is the jalapeno your favourite chilli?
| Hawks Sorry bro but I'm done. Have had enough disrespect. Thank you for always being such an awesome dude. I wish you nothing but peace and happiness.
| mouldypigeon Hey jalapeno man, do you happen to grow your own chilli plants?
| Trifolium Yeah I can log in for sure! Can have a look at it tomorrow. It's time for bed now zzzzzzz.
| Trifolium Definitely go for it if you feel like it. Would really like for it to have a review! It comes and goes in waves, doesn't it, the need to write?
| Trifolium Hehe, thanks! The thought crossed my mind, I must say. Perhaps I'll do it, if I can find some energy to begin. It's a lovely record once again, dude's unstoppable it seems.
| Hawks Give me a few recs of discogs to add to my list!
| evilford Yeah man I've tried periodically for probably 5 or 6 years to get into Pyrrhon and they only recently clicked for me, but it was a great feeling. Digging them quite a bit now, pretty unique band too
| Hawks Damn bro this Micronism album you rec'd is hitting the spot!
| Hawks Dude Monolake is so damn good.
| Hawks Hell yeah buddy let me know how you like them!
| Hawks I'm gonna give you a 6 album discog! One of my all time fav bands is ...and Oceans and they are so underappreciated. Cosmic World Mother is my AOTD (so far) and Symmetry is a 5 for me too. All of their stuff is just fantastic.
| Hawks Idk how the hell you keep up with that lol. I have trouble just keeping up with recs.
| Hawks For sure bro. Lots of different variations of stuff from folky stuff to ambient influenced to symhponic and straight up bm. If you have any questions just let me know!

| Mort. you are completely correct. The always open mouth is 19th on the top post-hardcore of all time chart but used (rightfully) be higher.
| Mort. commented on ur list
| Trifolium Oooooooh that's the best news in a looong time!!!! Looking mega forward to it. Saw Henke live with his awesome Commodore concert, I wonder if it resembles that somehow. Thanks for making my day Jalapeno!!
| SilentScream213 Yes that's me! Hello, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed my writing! What do you go by over on MMA?
| zakalwe Hello mate. Them recs were awhile ago weren't they. Indeed an absolute classic album. Completely overlooked when it first came out but packs a massive emotional punch.
| ToSmokMuzyki they look like formaldehyde preserved testicles
| Trifolium Oooooolaaalaaaa that one is crazy good indeed. Feel an Orbital day incoming in your honour.
| Trifolium Omg yes!!!! They're so good! Really looking forward to your ranking of them.
| InfernalDeity Dude check that 1999 release. I feel that we all have a prejudice to prefer earlier releases because we think naturally with age talent declines or we are nostalgic. That 1999 release might be my favorite from them.
| InfernalDeity Camel Rajaz, 1999 release but 70s prog legend and its amazing, and a bunch of King Crimson.
| InfernalDeity It was a great review man honestly. I haven't. Im on a 70's prog rock binge right now and based on the review, it sounds like an album that I need to be in the correct mental space to enjoy.
| InfernalDeity I could be wrong and it may read perfectly fine to everyone else. I just think the line "a casual attempt at listening" is a bit of a speed bump.
| Mort. this makes me very happy. looking forward to your thoughts on their full discog re. your list project
| evilford Oh sick! I'll check it out! I am good too btw, hope you are just as well :-)
| Oh wow that sounds very painful!
| mouldypigeon you know those aren't jalapenos, right? I'd be interested to know what they are tho because they look evil as ****.
| Pheromone JALAPENOOOO final music league submission in tonight!
| ArsMoriendi Umbrella thingy Sunday! Waiting til the last minute is of course cool, but just a friendly reminder anyway! Dream pop etc
| Mort. ok have decided this is a 4. very solid album although weirdly Good Luck is my fav, something very honest and sweet (sincere) about it .
| ArsMoriendi Don't forget to drop your round 2 rec for the umbrella comp!
| Mort. not sure yet, but definetely dont hate it! will need a few more listens. certainly my type of post hardcore tho. also nice to hear some post hardcore from the uk that isnt from the emo kerrang era
| Mort. am listening to that reuben album you recced me now
| Mort. and yet i still dont see a shiner rating....
| Mort. this does not make you a wanker, its makes you a convert to the committee of shiner bros. welcome brother
| Mort. why are you a wanker jalapeno?
| zakalwe James are a bloody great band. Laid is a quality album as well. If you do give them recs a listen let us know what you think of the Grant Lee Buffalo one if you ever get round to it. Remained in my top ten of all time since I first heard it 30 years ago.
| zakalwe I definitely commend your taste. James Seven is a phenomenal album. A real life changer for me.
| SlothcoreSam Hey man, I got an undiscovered gem that got released this week, less than 100 monthly listens, but should be 10 times more. WIMS- CANT LOSE
| Trifolium (Deleted to keep the code a secret hehehe)
| Hawks Will check later today or tomorrow morning bro!
| mryrtmrnfoxxxy check this band Made In Mexico sometime. both albums are worth a listen. the first is more no wave influenced and the second leans heavy on reggaeton rhythms
| MarsKid Hmm I'll give it a shot, thanks for the rec!
| ArsMoriendi Checking the song ?Mello Hippo Disco Show? and I don?t know how to feel haha, on one hand it?s kinda cool, but on the other hand I want more from it. Thanks for the rec though!
| e210013 Hello Bitter. Thanks for asking my opinion about your ranking about Genesis, another of my favourite prog bands, like Gentle Giant. I finished to do so in your list. Cheers pal.
| Trifolium I'll jam it tomorrow to see if any new ideas pop up. Who knows!
| Trifolium Hi Jalapeno!!! No I must say I haven't. I'm in a little of a review hole. But maybe your Switched On one will get me so hyped I'll give mine a go anyway!
| Pangea Don't forget to vote for the music league! only like 7 hours left
| mryrtmrnfoxxxy thanks for the Mount Shasta rec, i really really love them! turns out all 3 of their albums rip so check the other two if you haven't! i just ordered their debut on vinyl. oh and i just got into U.S. Maple through these guys too so yeah probably rec of the year
| SlothcoreSam Enjoy, they are a very solid 4.5 band. Very intelligent, witty, with great song writing abilities. And don't forget about those riffs!
| ArsMoriendi Tech death is prob a good suggestion, but I?m focusing on what got for now and maybe advocating for the poll winners that are still missing (like slowcore, trap, krautrock, and I forget the others but there?s like 3 more?)
| ArsMoriendi Months ago we voted on a bunch of genres and 13 won. MX however decided to ignore half the list and add a ton of random ones (some good, some bad) so reasoning with him may be a waste of time. Ones we got include: melodic black metal, groove metal, djent, atmospheric black met, mathcore synthpop, new wave, art pop, nu jazz, instrumental hip hop, noise, power electronics, bossa nova, deathcore, funeral doom, glam rock, disco, and 3 really bad ones (Viking metal, hair metal, and instrumental rock)
| e210013 Hello, Bitter. I am very proud and happy that you asked my opinion about one of my fav prog bands ever. I put a very extensive comment about my opinion about the band and their discography, plus my opinion about your ranking. Cheers buddy.
| Mort. no worries and i dont think it falls short at all!! it describes the essence of their music and themes pretty well. and most importantly, i now have a place to try and persuade others to listen to them lol
| Mort. unfortunately not, i really think the only place to access it easily is on youtube. bit of a shame. been waiting for the day some label picks it up and re-distributes it but with Sarah Kirsch dead i dont know who was in control of the bands stuff (dont know if you know any of her others bands) https://www.discogs.com/artist/9498337-Sarah-Kirsch-3
| Mort. you havent commented in the review a random album game since you nominated an album. you have since been assigned your album to review. (well done on the contrib promotion btw)
| SlothcoreSam Nice, looking forward to see what you are working on.
| SlothcoreSam Glad you dig it, and congrats on the contrib, you should review GEZAN as your first official.
